You make a few great points, specifically about the team quitting once the front office quit…and also the part about how we don’t have any strategic view….Woody is as far from capable of that as he is of going to the fucking moon…also interesting point about scouts being rewarded for losing in that they get higher draft picks to use…funny but true in a way

Given all the coaches getting fired, Glenn's seat could have easily been heating up internally.

I just remembered that we let Maccagnan run one final draft before firing him immediately afterwards. This offseason is right up there in terms of incompetence.

Maybe Woody will fire Glenn immediately after the draft?

Glenn and the rest of the staff will be likely gone by end of next season.

If he wasn't a dead man walking previously, he is now.

Glenn probably needs a winning record to survive. With the turnover and how hard it seems to be to find replacements, Glenn may just be really stubborn and hard to work with which is not good for his position.

I keep having this thought that Glenn can still get fired anytime. I don't actually think it's going to happen, but all this uncertainty and incompetence gives me the thought

It’s also utterly moronic to make all these moves a month after the season ends when 3/4’s of the open positions are filled in the league.

I think the firing of both coordinators and all bunch of assistants cements us as the worst and most dysfunctional franchise. We were already pretty much there but the Raiders having the #1 pick and Brady being heavily involved and the Browns having a couple of playoff appearances in the last decade locks us in to 32/32.

Just make Chris Banjo the coach and call it a day. The only person on the staff that displayed any sort of competence...

It wouldn't be unprecedented. The Chargers fired Marty Schottenheimer on February 12, 2007. Granted, wildly different circumstances, but it wouldn't be entirely unprecedented to let the HC go this late.

It is such an embarrassing look

And we are the real idiots who keep wasting our time and money and angst over this fucking team when the owner who has all the power is not only a clueless fucking moron, but on top of that doesn’t give two shits about winning.

I'm reminded of the reports that Quinnen didn't get along with Glenn and Glenn was a big reason Q started asking for a trade behind the scenes. Quinnen doesn't exactly strike me as a guy who's hard to get along with either.

So everyone was the problem, but the head coach? Is that what they’re telling us?

It's remarkable how much I hate the Jets ownership and front office. Like ... sure, Jon Gruden (who has a history of success as an NFL head coach) is going to take a job as offensive coordinator working for dipshit Aaron Glenn, who doesn't even have a history of success as a defensive coordinator (let alone a head coach). Why not dig up Vince Lombardi and see if his zombie will take a job as our defensive line coach, too?

Wonder where Tanner ends up. There are still some OC spots open. Could go MILF route - to another offensive Head coach with OC title but without play calling duties. Hopefully not the Bills... Detroit is another option.

Johnson is just so clueless on the real world. Like a Gruden would ever take that offer. I honestly wonder if he's a total alchie
