Reports out now saying he's getting 12 mill a year not 10, if that's true I want the 33rd team to represent me.

Man I hope every radio show and newspaper guy and blogger are ALL ripping the Jets and Woody sees it

We deserve every shred of vitriol we get for how Woody is running this show

    It’s fucking a disgusting joke

Man I fucking HATE our owner…the most stupid clueless imbecile in whatever room he walks into.

The real kick in the dick is no one with an ounce of talent or promise is taking this OC job. The same problem we'd have if we were looking for a head coach. This franchise time and time again proves that they have the absolute worst ownership in the business. No one is signing up for this until someone figures it out and makes us respectable on the field so that there's at least a draw to being here. But that's not gonna happen when you fire an entire staff in year 2, in embarrassing fashion, and STILL don't have a QB.

Three first round picks isn't gonna mean shit when we're in the 2027 cycle at this point.

    Yup…on that we agree

We are the fucking joke of all sports…outside looking in, how can anyone NOT say “yeah, fuck THAT shitshow”

Seriously…I do think firing the HC has to happen though at this point…I get it’s a shitshow, but a clean slate with these picks is the best we’re gonna look in the forseeable future. Otherwise, what? AG starting from scratch next year, pretty much in the same boat as this year with no QB, that’s not gonna end well…he’s going to lose a lot of games. And will almost certainly be fired at some point during the year.

Then we’ll be right here again. Wasting another season. With fewer draft assets to dangle for a new HC.

It sucks both ways, but I think a clean slate now would be better. If there were a QB available at #2, I’d say ok maybe it gets better, but there’s not. So outside of some kind of trade, our QB room will suck next year too.

I don’t know…Woody dug himself into this hot fucking mess and the reality is there’s no easy way out of it now.

If we keep Glenn, yes agree it’s going to be super hard to find good asst coaches, including an OC and a DC

If we fire Glenn, yes agree it’d be hard to find a great HC candidate at this point as well

Personally, I’d fire him now and start over with a new HC since we’re basically hiring an entire new staff anyway…what’s the worse that can happen?? We are already bottom of the barrel…not much further down we can go.

Only difference is we already KNOW Glenn sucks as an HC. Let’s move on and try the next guy vs. waiting a year for Glenn to suck again and start over then

Man, none of it makes any sense. This franchise is completely clueless.

I've never seen a coach so thoroughly scapegoat everyone around him so quickly.

How much is the coach and how much is the owner demanding what he do? There's absolutely Woody influence especially after he let Glenn keep his job.

If he trusts Glenn to the point of hugging him as much as he does, I’d imagine he gives Glenn the autonomy to do all of this on his own.

I don't know man. Woody is an absolute buffoon. It wouldn't be surprising at all if Glenn fully convinced him everyone else was to blame, and Woody isn't smart enough to disagree or realize that maybe the root issue is the guy who hired the entire staff in the first place.

WOW. Fire everyone except the guy at fault. Only Woody. Just fire Glenn too, get Kubiak, and move on already. What an imbecile.

You want to know who's laughing? Absolutely and unequivocally EVERY single individual associated with the Dolphins, Bills and Patriots (who will commence the laughter the moment they get their teeth knocked out by Seattle)

All of them. Laughing until it hurts.

I picture the movie "Draft Day" and that smug fucker who played the head coach of the Seahawks calling up Woody Johnson and just laughing and laughing and laughing and laughing some more...

Keep going Woody! Fire some more! FIRE FIRE FIRE!!!!!!!!! If you run out, you can hire some folks to fire, or you can fire yourself. Either way.

I personally was not a fan of Tanner at all. Ran a popgun offense, some very strange playcalling at times. Maybe a lot of that was on Fields, I don't know. So I'm not sorry he's gone.

Would be great to get a more experienced OC in here, ideally an ex-HC

I was in the middle of typing out some longer thoughts but I'm kind of at a loss for words at this point. It just gets uglier and uglier every year.

Hard to even get excited for the draft, which I usually love, knowing that next year is almost certainly going to be a waste.

Can't really recall a coach as unlikable as Glenn. Hyper-arrogant from day 1, hyper-incompetent from day 1, scapegoats everyone around him a year after he hired all of them. Man...

The Fins suck. They may not be as bad as us, but they are nowhere. Bills and Patsies... yeah, can't say anything about them.

I could see this one being on Woody for sure.

Engstrand came from the Lions with Glenn. Glenn has no real ties to Frank Reich, idk, maybe they played together 25 years ago but he brought Engstrand here. I could easily see Woody saying he wants "experience" and picking out Reich for him and Glenn is forced to make it work, Engstrand objects, and here we are...

Has this ever happened before? A first year head coach firing everyone he hired after 1 year while keeping his job?

I like that Tanner was able to at least scheme guys open. Seemed like with time and an actual QB he could’ve developed into a fair coordinator.

If they were looking for an upgrade, with HC experience, McDaniels was right there. This move should’ve been made weeks ago.

And if you’re at the stage of firing your DC, OC, as a large chunk of staff…how the fuck do you keep the HC employed?

This organization man. Makes your head spin. Mine for just about going on 50 years now.
