AG doesn't have a wheelhouse, he just keeps hiring coordinators that can do the job without his input apparently. Horses mouth, he said it was Wilks defense.

I'd rather use these premium picks on both sides of the ball. And if by some chance Chambliss does declare for the draft, his stock is going to shoot up the boards with the lack of proven, potential "franchise" QB's in this draft.

I'd rather get guys who showed out on the biggest stages like Chambliss and Surratt because that has the makings of a talented O. Add proven guys like Bain and Allen to that and you have a really talented young core on both sides. I wouldn't mind adding a speedy back or WR too in the mid-rounds. We need more explosive players on O. Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall alone aren't scaring opposing defenses. Add a few talented skill guys around them and now you've got something.

I like Surratt - reminds me of Mike Evans.

    I want a WR early…preferably first round

I get our defense was a hot fucking mess, but so is our offense. I’m so tired of ignoring it historically. We need a WR as badly as we do a DL.

I’d like to go DL and WR in round one with our picks.

Our defensive players didn’t look THIS bad in previous years with better coaching…not sure that our coaching is going to get much better this year after this purge, but it’s hard to imagine it getting worse. I’d hope that better coaching would bring some of our defensive guys back up to previous levels of production…guys like Quincy and Sherwood definitely looked MUCH better under Saleh than they did last year. I think coaching was a big part of that.

We’ve tried to win with defense and a running game forever…it has never worked.

We need to be able to move the fucking ball, and so far, we have exactly ONE legit receiver. We need to add another.

I just saw a crazy first round mock draft on AZ sports - it had the Jets trading the #2 to the Bengals for #10, #41, and a 2027 first rounder…the Bengals traded all of that for Reese.

The mock had the Jets taking Sonny Styles and then Peter Woods at #16….

Caleb Downs went #12 to Dallas…. lol. In this scenario I would have gone Downs at #10 instead of Styles because Anthony Hill could be had at #33. The Jets in this scenario would have two more second round picks - #41 and #44..

This trade would give the Jets 4 first rounders in 2027…
