If he manages to score Daboll as his OC i'm going to be kind of jelly. I gave Daboll a lot of previous flack for the Daniel Jones stuff, but I also think he went on to get the most out of that scrubby Giants offense this year. Even freaking Tennessee gets to be in the running for decent OC hires.
You might be right, I never saw any signs that MLF wanted any part of Wilson, nor did Saleh, and when Wilson became a failure MLF paid the price instead of Saleh and JD. There was no way anyone in his right mind wanted Hackett except Woodsy to appease AR. All the body motion will tell you AR had no use or respect for Saleh.
I’ll be happy to be assertively wrong. Let me keep an eye on RS first moves, will he bring MLF back as OC, which kind of makes sense to me, or may be go on a different direction and make a push for Wilson or AR to help with a veteran presence.
That would be really interesting with both failed NY coaches joining forces in Tennessee. I would take Daboll in a heartbeat as an OC. And relative to Glenn as a HC too.
I am not sure, but I don't think either Zach or Rodgers were FORCED upon Saleh. Decisions of that magnitude are typically made in collaboration of GM and HC.
