I was wondering if you think about going to Mills too but in a game you’re probably going to lose anyway, there’s no way they’d go to him and destroy Stroud’s confidence for the future. He’s just aiming the ball. He has a huge arm and needs to just let it rip. He’s floating it too much.
Did you watch him at all though? Did you watch him against the Bills in one of those wins he “engineered?” He was downright awful for most of the game. He started like 0/8. Not singling you out or even saying you’re a Mills guy but the Jets fan becomes very enamored with backup QB’s who don’t turn the ball over and let the team win.
They could win this game with just a functional offense. The defense is playing out of its mind in these playoffs. No reason to continue to protect someone’s ego when a playoff win could potentially be had.
That’s literally all they need right now. Someone to get out of the way of the rest of the offense and not throw INTs every other time he drops back.
i am now at the point where I just realised I don't even care if the Pats win a SB or not - the Jets are just uncompetitive and terrible that there is no prospect of them ever competing and someone has to win so who cares - not me - now I am off to have a bath
Pats aren't getting points of those turnovers. The Texans defense is absolutely crushing it, plus Drake Maye picked the perfect time to turn into a second year QB auditioning to play for the Jets.
They still need points. He needs to move the ball. Every drive where the Texans don't score now adds to the pressure. Somehow if they can come out and punch in a TD right now it's a game
True, but he had Nico Collins and Dalton Schultz playing......today he doesn't against a better defense.
Did the officials get together and decide that we're not calling false starts on the right side of the line this postseason?
