If you are implying it was an even split or there were lots of people here who wanted Sam....they sure didn't say it at the time.
Sam had to leave and go to a competent organization like the niners where he learned from the best. If anyone thinks he would be doing what he's doing now without leaving hasn't been watching this team.
The Jets are highly successful at ruining anyone with obvious potential . . . that is if they don't get broken enough to succeed elsewhere. Sometimes all it involves is a different uniform, go figure.
Obviously we should’ve kept Darnold but at the same time he also didn’t really do anything yesterday. He made a nice throw on the TD pass but he was 12/17 for 124 yards lol. Brooks Bollinger could’ve won that game yesterday for the Seahawks.
This is fair. They are asking him in some cases to just not lose the game . Their defense is top tier
for me the idea of keeping Sam was not so much "I think he will turn into a top QB" but more "he's never really had a great OC to work with him so he could still turn things around, I have very little faith in Wilson and don't want them to draft him and the niners are offering 3 first round picks to move up for Trey Lance" so it always seemed like a really bad idea for the Jets to have done what they did.
If and when the Jets ever make it back to the playoffs you just know they will go out on a call like that Bills interception at the end of the game - the more angles of it you see the more it just makes no sense to call it an interception.
Bullshit penalties, can't fall on a football for a recovery, big injuries, bad turnovers. Yeah I know where this game is going. Infuriating
