That's because it didn't. It was only after the team got out to an 0-7 start due to being the worst coached team in the league that the pivot made towards a half-baked fire sale. The product that was on the field at the end of the season was largely due to poor defensive scheme, and the decision to go into the season with no #2 receiver (one of the most mind boggling decisions I've seen a GM make) and a UFDA QB as the #3 behind a QB on his third team in 3 years and his backup that has had an extensive injury history over the past several seasons.

There should have been extensive changes made in both the front office and the coaching staff after the 2025 season, including a new GM and HC.

Ahahha you mean the OL that had to block for a QB who held the ball for 10 seconds and couldn’t read a d so teams would go 8 in the box to stop the run ??? Ok pal.

I wasn't talking about this year's O-line. Was talking about how Douglas didn't manage to put together a decent O-line until his last year as the GM.

This year's O-line was decent. It looks like we have our tackles for the next several years. It will be interesting to see how they do when they're blocking for a QB that gets the ball off in a normal amount of time. Should improve even more just based on that alone.
