There are 14 teams that never won a superbowl, eight of them have been around since 1969. Bills, Browns, Chargers, Jaguars, Lions, Panthers, Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans.
Yes, I own this hilarious gem. The Jets are so disrespected and disregarded that a Christmas ornament company couldn't even be bothered to get the year right. I used to post tons of great photos back in the day. I have the Jets '65 and the '66 yearbooks, but our crap basement was always flooding in Flushing, so the only things that I have from Super Bowl IÌI is a signed football with a bunch of smudged signatures thanks to water damage (although Namath's signature is clear as day), and original newspaper clippings. I'll resurrect those things some time tonight for fun. In the meanwhile, I can feel the chunks rising thinking about the 15 year playoff drought. Alms for the poor or some chit like that.
Haha, awesome! I have quite a few Jets ornaments, all different. One was a present from my Daddy, Christmas 1982. I didn't realize how rusty the hanger was. We were decorating our annoying tree, and the corroded part snapped when I bent it over a branch. It hit the floor and shattered, and right at that moment, the TV blurbed that Jim Leonhard broke his leg in practice, gone for the season. Talk about a parallel universe. My "Ohhhhhh, ffffffffcccckkkkk . . . !" was for both things, but truth be told, I was really heartbroken about that ornament. Damn it. :/
