The pundicks who were telling Moore to go back to school rather than play for the Jets may end up being right in the most ironic way.
So from everything I'm hearing here, the Jets have the number two overall pick again and still will absolutely not get a franchise quarterback. Am I far off on that one?
Having endured Moore at UCLA this game is the absolute best thing that could have happened for the Jets if Mendoza was a lock to the Raiders.
Hopefully a good DC comes in who recognizes talent because there are some good players to be had especially in the first two rounds ….
Time to load up with talent on the draft. I would invest money in free agency in two key positions. A vet QB and a top LB. Then leverage the draft to fix this D and get a WR or two.
Really sucks we have the 2nd pick, and there's only 1 QB potentially in the draft, typical Jets luck, Moore stinks
He might still come out I guess. If so It will be interesting to see how many people, between now and April, talk themselves into putting so much emphasis stock in the "he's only 20 years old" factor that tonight might as well of never even happened.
Game reps matter. Simpson and Moore would benefit and help hone their craft by staying another year at school. That being said, its hard to ignore the $ of an NFL 1st round contract. Yeah they can make $6M next year but what if they get hurt? Plus it's every kid's dream to play in the NFL.
Finally a football team I am rooting for will play in a Championship game. It is a weird feeling. Texted all my Hoosier fan friends and can’t wait to watch the final in 2 weeks. Go Hoosiers!
I don't know why I went into this game kidding myself that it would or could play out any differently for jets fans.
