Don't need to be nostradamus to see it coming either, just like going to the movies and loading up on popcorn to watch a movie you have seen a thousand times before.

Are you saying we as Jets fans continue to pay to see the same movie over and over again like idiots?

Some of us do, I personally went to the Chargers Monday night game last year because it was my son's birthday but im not going again till they get their shit together. So while I don't pay to watch the movie I still sit at home and staple my eyes open long enough to endure the games.

Well, here's some "good news"... Looks like Woody Johnson blew off the last 3 games and is pissed HOW the team lost..

Jets Insider Reveals Woody Johnson's Thoughts on Aaron Glenn

The "clock" has been started on Glenn evidently. Another 0-7 start and I would think Glenn might be floating down river.

This is what kills me, even Woody knows what needs to be done but doesn't give af enough to care. Oooh, he's on the hot seat, then fucking fire him now while there are a sea of better coaches available. Infuriating

The Raiders are cleaning house and essentially presenting a blank slate of possibility there. That alone always goes a *LONG* way towards breeding renewed hope and wishful thinking. Where as Jets have basically just rewinded the clock back to 2023, and without a surrounding possibility of HoF'er QB Aaron Rodgers showing up to somehow offset a coaching staff without a clue.

Like last time I'm not pointing this out to "attack" you. Just saying that some of your takes starting off this offseason seem to be stuck in this Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde pattern imo. Where one side of them doesn't appear to acknowledge the existence of the other. Especially with how vocal you've been against this coaching stuff :)

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, that would be the 1st for me! lol

And I am also not saying this to attack you, but once again your point is not very well articulated. I am ready to put my record against yours any time, if that's what you are after, assuming you can actually intelligibly communicate yours, which so far here has not been the case.

This was about advising Dante whether to come out or not, and I don't think the Jets retaining Glenn is enough of a reason not to come out. I have stated pros and cons for that. Also, while the Raiders do have some renewed hope, their situation is not that great either to the point where Smith should be attempting to influence Dante to stay, and on top of that, only because of the Jets and ignoring Raiders shitty situation.

Hence I did not like when he did that. Just the bit where he tried to influence Dante. I agreed with everything else there. And btw after that he kind of backtracked yesterday, still called Jets shit of course, but did not push Dante point any longer and said they are bottom 3 something like that. Again, it is influencing Dante part is that I did not like.

If that's in your understanding Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, OK! But I think this again looks like something you were not able to properly express, which frankly has been the case for a lot of your posts.

50 mil is fully guaranteed. That's for 4 years. Only the 5th year is not guaranteed, on top of 50. And this contract comes with a huge signing bonus too, a lot of the money will come year 1.

I don’t understand how anyone can NOT be so against this staff…they failed at a horrific level…setting all kinds of futility records. AG is in the same convo as Kotite and Gase. That alone speaks volumes.

The Cimini article saying how “woody is pissed”…but committed to Glenn, but on a short leash. It’s fucking asinine.

Just like with Saleh…chances are he’s not going to make it, so fire him NOW, when there are actually quite a few very good HC candidates. But no, Woody is an imbecile…he’s going to let AG start the year, our schedule is going to be rough from the looks of it, we’ll probably lose a bunch right out of the gate, and Woody will do his stupid reactionary shit and fire AG sometime during next season. That is the most likely outcome. We’ve all seen this movie before.

And it’ll be another wasted year.

When we have a great opportunity with lots of cap space and a bunch of picks to entice a much better more qualified candidate to come make over the team as he sees fit. We’ve seen Glenn’s ideas. Fields. Wilks. Penalties. Disinterested players. Fuck off already. I’ve seen enough. He took a mediocre team and made it WORSE. No one improved. No one.

But Woody is fucking moron. Can’t say strongly enough how much I hate this dipshit of a loser.

Just our luck. Maybe if this imbecile came to these games he would have felt differently. Especially home game against NE.. Or Buffalo subs.

He had a better season in one game against us than all of our QB’s combined.

I actually wasn't going there. But since you chose to I would guess at least 20% of the 1100+ total posts I've made on this board since joining were direct exchanges with you arguing over my stances that:

    - the Hackett hire being terrible, and how simply having Aaron Rodgers at QB would not offset having a historically terrible OC at the helm
    - 2022 should have been viewed as a huge red flag decline year for Aaron Rodgers. One that wasn't adequately explained away by the early season finger injury
    - How doomed to failure the idea was to bring in Rodgers with defacto GM powers, and that he would/should wear some of the blame for the clown show that ensued
    - What a terrible OC hire Engstrand appeared to be. As well as how much of a red flag Detroit showing zero interest in retaining him really was
    - The team and any hope we had to have a watchable 2025 season was much better off keeping Rodgers at QB. Especially since there was never any realistic chance of a "culture change" with this hired HC/OC tandem and as long as Woody owned the team.
    - What a worst case scenario "fix team" fit we were easily projected to be for Justin Fields, and the overwhelming probability that would spit out a league worst level offense

Reading that belief statement claim you made above I don't think the underlying problem here lies within my supposed inability to articulate my thoughts. But it does make more sense to me why you would be leaning so hard into it as a last line of defense retort atm. You are going to believe what you want or need to believe regardless. Noted.

Rodgers is an interesting one because he kind of maintained (and still does) the same level he had in that last GB year. It did not help that he injured his Achilles in the 1st year here. But still he was a below average QB, which unfortunately the best Jets had since Fitzpatrick, or even before that. I wanted him here since that was the baseline I thought we would get (which we did even coming of Achilles), and possibly more (which we did not). With Rodgers (and Hack to serve him coffee) we did improve our offense by 4 points from 16 in 2023 to 20 in 2024. But the defense and STs regressed. Even on offense 20 ppg is not great even though best than we've had since 2018, but I do not recall you offering a better solution.

I still am not sure what you wanted to do with Rodgers and what solutions you had. I recall you saying dumping him was at the top of the list with numerous benefits, citing his baggage. You then wanted to keep him. I guess you changed your mind because he played well? But then you are saying you are not happy I wanted to bring him in, even though you wanted to keep him after he is two years older? :) This is what I mean about you having a hard time to articulate the point. This is not meant as a line defense or an attack. Just say clearly what you wanted to do. My record is clear, I wanted to bring Rodgers in to give it a shot, and in two years after we changed the regime, won 5 games with Rodgers, and he is two years older, I wanted to move on to get someone younger. Again, what did you want to do? I also remember you then trying to absolve JD, saying Rodgers was the GM. JD turned out to be an awful GM with or without Rodgers. You also said Hackett would become HC if they fire Saleh, remember that one. LOL.

As far as coaches and Campbell not wanting to promote Tanner, Campbell wanted Morton, who was on his staff a year before, and fired him already. Tanner I think jury is still out, very hard to evaluate. He and Hyden may be the best coaches we have on the roster still. Bit I did not want Glenn in the 1st place, I wanted an offensive guy, like Coen. Again, state your record, who did you want as coaches? Again, it's just hard to tell even with all the posts you made what CS you actually wanted.

On Fields, yes, I wanted him as a young lottery ticket with some chance to be a longer term answer. But after his 5 or so full games I completed his evaluation and in light of evidence changed my opinion of him. So much for believing what you want! lol. I go where the evidence takes me, which is what happened with Fields. Still though I don't think keeping Rodgers would have been better. We would have won a couple of more games, hurt draft position and would still be in shit but with worse draft picks. So if that was your idea, it would have been even worse.

Your ENTIRE summation boils down to money. Period. Nothing about his well being. Nothing about his career, longevity or lack thereof. So, basically, it boils down to greed. How GREEDY is Dante Moore? He's a multi-millionaire already and will be so in the future regardless of the path he takes. He's a VERY young man and has, what, 2 or 3 years of eligibility left. That adds up to $20+ mill in the NIL.

I guess we'll find out if Dante is greedy or cares about his future.

Watching Playoff football today was a cruel exercise in just how far off this roster is. I watched players make the plays they had to make. I watched QBs make the throws they had to make. I realized that this organization needs almost a complete turnover in talent acquisition and coaching.

Woody being who and what he is will NEVER hire someone with a successful experienced resume as he has to have ultimate control. Until Woody is gone, this organization will continue to dwell in the sewer of the NFL for the foreseeable future.

If the Giants land Harbaugh and he turns them around in 2 years, Woody will have to deal with a dead franchise and a departed fanbase except for the dozen or so die-hards who will go to the games no matter what.
