Horvat named to the Canadian Olympic team; Schaefer not.

 

Schaefer and Heineman make two Olympic team managements wonder about their decisions!

 

Schaefer is turning out to be a stud. So glad we have him on the Islanders. The goals he scored on Saturday against the Leafs were amazing plays especially the one that tied it at 2-2.

 

That’s what the Islanders need from their forwards, they need a young stud like Schaefer at winger position, they already have the centers.

 

I’m counting the days for Eiserman and Eklund to be on the team.

 

Duclair with an incredible game and still gets outshined by Sorokin.

 

I am so mad the Isles missed the extra point in the 9-0 win over the Devils

 

Isles scored more against NJ than the Jets this week

 

Any other stadium I wouldn’t have been spooked but in Nashville I knew this was going to be a loss as soon as they tied it with a SHG.

 

Would have been nice to get the win but still got a point with a 2-1 loss in a SO. Can't win them all but they did get a point so overall not a bad night.
