We had 759 passing yards in the first half of all games combined this year. Next lowest was the Raiders at 1,230.
The Jets are now one of only two teams to not make the playoffs since the 2020 Covid playoffs. The other being the Falcons who last made the playoffs in 2017. Think about how long ago it feels like the Covid year was and then consider you need to stack another TEN years on top of that to get to the Jets last appearance.
Another milestone for this franchise: With the decision not to clean house, the New York Jets, who we are used to seeing have their seasons end in October or early November, managed to end their 2026 season in early January, before it even started. Bravo. If this franchise makes it back to the playoffs before 2040 it'll be a miracle.
I honestly don't know if I can continue to do this to myself another season. There's just no hope in sight. Woody is a horrible owner who doesn't care if we win or lose. No self-respecting humanbeing wants to work for him so we'll never get a good coach or GM in. Just can't stand watching the exact same bullshit every single season. I already stopped buying Jets merch years ago. I didn't watch what few games were on TV in South Jersey. Jesus, every day we are reminded what new levels of suck we reach. It's depressing and probably the main reason for the anger I have seen towards this team lately, not the typical apathy and frustration, this is anger.
