I get the strategy of what you’re saying and I don’t really disagree with it…

I just disagree on Jones…I think he’s been a product of that SF system and I don’t think he’d do nearly as well here. And no, I still don’t think he’s a 4000 yard 30 TD guy. I just don’t. You can run the math and get there I understand but I don’t think it translates. Just like others who ran Fields’ 6 games (not much less than Jones’ 8 games) at a much different team with much better coaching out over a 17 game season and came up with nice numbers.

I’ve watched Jones play. He’s not very good. Garapolo was better and failed big time after leaving SF. We can disagree…I’m not saying Jones isn’t better than the shit we watched this year, so on that level sure he’d be an upgrade, but I’m just not a fan of the guy and I’d MUCH rather trade for a guy like Davis Mills. If we had to trade.

Ironically enough, the 49'ers are considered the worst drafting team but I think one or two players (like Lance) is what statistically puts them there. However, the Jets are the 2nd worse and that's a damn lifestyle. You can count the "good" drafts one two hands throughout their entire history.
