This should be job #1 for Mougey and Glenn Tuesday morning. Say goodbyes to the team, on Monday clean out the lockers and get ready for the draft.

First off, get your CS in place BEFORE the draft. You need your new DC in place and he needs HIS assistants in place.

Second: Get your rookie OC some help as far as people who have done the job successfully before. No more RBC's moonlighting as QBC's. Get a real QBC in the bldg. Engstrand spending a game or two up in the booth instead of on the sidelines can't hurt.

Third and perhaps most importantly, revamp the scouting dept. Those guys couldn't find their asses with a flashlight and a map. Stealing their money for the most part. Either they're not using the available technology correctly or just stuck in their ways.

By the time April 2026 rolls around, Mougey and Glenn need to have a new CS in place and ready to go. Nothing else matters until this decision-making unit is functioning like a real NFL CS.

No more bullshit, no more first timers having to learn as they go. Either you can do the job or hire someone that can. The Jets have to stop being a test bed for new talent. This is NOT THE MARKET for that.

Woody had better WTFU and recognize he's lost the fanbase. Shit has to change PDQ or else MetLife will be a ghost town on Jet game days and his swag profits will plummet.

    On to the Draft!!

Heads need to roll on offense. If the OC gets fired I'd have no problem, I do agree with the sentiment the offense looked worse than it should have for big chunks of the season.

The first job for both of them tomorrow should be clearing out their offices and updating their resumes.

Wish Woody had the brains and balls to clean house as we have 8 picks in Top 50 in next 2 years draft along with over $100 million in cap space.

Jets GM and HC jobs have never been this attractive and for real, we can land a great HC and one of the prominent GM candidates.

Well, his team lost to the Jets. What did he expect? But yes, please bring him in as DC.

I know a lot of people who are giving up their season tickets this year - FINALLY - maybe this will be the wake-up call.

I didn't follow them closely, but they came off as a team with 0 identity during his tenure. At the end they did start to have the ground and pound style.

This would be the time to change HC and the GM if necessary. The picks could lure a competent HC.

QB situation is too unstable though and not likely to improve from this draft.

Doesn't it kill your draft prep if you're looking for a coach?

It's all but clear as pure quartz crystal from the Czech Republic that when the draft comes around the same asses will be in the GM and HC seats in Jetsland. A DC will have been hired and the OC will get some help as well but I'm thinking the focus should be on one particular seat in need of a different ass - that of the QB Coach.

The Jets need to redefine the position before even compiling a list of candidates and doing so with an eye and mind focused on new, technology driven training methods. This could actually mean that there are two quarterback coaches - one for the mental aspects of the job and one for the physical. What successful business would rely on the same person to lead two such diverse endeavors?

What good is a guy who can throw a frozen rope to a moving target forty yards away 99% of the time if he can't identify that target and the defense around it before launch? It's time to think within two new boxes rather than simply anywhere out of the one in which the team has been mired for decades.

The clear need for an entirely new QB cadre here, combined with a select portfolio of draft capital for the coming years should encourage the interest of some exceptional forward-looking candidates with the attitude they can make the long-needed changes.

Why do people like Morris? His defenses were not good in Atlanta. He was in LA with McVey when they were winning with offense. The defenses were not highly ranked. I guess pickings will be slim if Glenn stays since he is a lame duck coach and it could be one and done, but Morris, while could be the best we can get, is a meh hire to me. Glenn might as well just call the defense himself and make himself useful.

Raheem Morris lives with school age kids. He's been coaching in the NFL for almost 25 years, and just came off his second head coaching stint. He's not moving house to take a lesser position with this dipshit team.

No DC worth anything is coming here to work for Glenn. Not an established DC, and not a promising candidate. We have a HC that’s going to be fired by the end of next year and a defensive roster that doesn’t inspire confidence. We might as well just make Harris the official DC

Right, if we are going into 26 in the earliest tank mode in the history of the NFL we might as well do it right lol. Sad but true, especially if we don't draft a QB and need to pick high again next year.

I like Aaron Glenn as a former player, but the Jacksonville loss ALONE warrants this Head Coach to be fired.

Listen, this is all about money. It’s so clear that we need to fire Glenn now. We need to draft a QB yet we have no one on the staff that inspires any kind of confidence that they can develop him. We need a DC, but who’s going to take that job under Glenn? Certainly no one with a pedigree, and honestly I don’t see anyone wanting the job even as a first time DC. Glenn’s seat is burning hot, he may not even make it through next season. There’s no stability. We have all these picks and we're throwing away half of them to be wasted by Glenn and his staff, we will not be nearly as attractive to potential coaches next season. It’s so obvious that now is the time that the only logical reason not to do it is because Woody doesn’t want to eat the cost of his stupid decision. We’re truly fucked.

Sad but accurate, we are officially tanking 26 if this is the route we are headed down. I hope anyone still buying season tix gets the memo.

If anyone in their right mind is still buying tickets to this puke fest, they deserve to be miserable.
