A bad game that becomes interesting for 2 reasons. Jets are trying to secure the 3rd pick in the draft and Bills are playing their last game at their current stadium. Next year they will play in their new stadium.
The Jets were the first opponent to play the first regular season game in OP, and they will be the Bills last opponent to play the last regular season game there 53 years later this coming Sunday,
I wonder if schedule makers knew this already. Kinda cool to be the team that opened and closed their stadium. Did we win that game at least?
New England clinched the division yesterday? Does Buffalo have anything to play for? My understanding is Buffalo is wearing their throwback unis with the red helmets for this one? I like that uniform better than their current uniform.
They still might. The white jerseys are confirmed but it says "TBA" on the pants so it could be white, green or black pants.
The real question is: How quickly will the jets be down 21-0. I say with 6 minutes left in the 1st qtr.
And it happens on a third down inside the 2-minute warning with the Bills needing a 1st down to win the game. It would be a walk off win that would please nobody. The Bills, and their fans, would be livid to lose to the Jets in such fashion to close out their old stadium and the Jets fans would be pissed that getting their first and only INT of the season came with about a minute to go in the season and caused them to slide several spots in the draft, as well as give the coaching staff the illusion of there being "progress".
Them winning and a few others losing would be the difference between playing wild card at Foxboro against the Pats or against Jags, Pitt, or Balt, so yes they'll have something to play for
