I got cut off by the bartender after Rex's 1st playoff win vs the Bengals... (granted it's probably because I was behind the bar doing the J-E-T-S chant) Good times. I can't believe you guys were on here debating JETS futility on Christmas. The other 364 days are enough . @Jesus is disappoint....
Worst December point differentials in NFL history 2025 Jets -107 1960 Bears -106 1990 Patriots -104 2019 Panthers -98 1990 Browns -98
Opponents convert 4th down attempts 76.47% of the time which makes the Jets the 32nd ranked team On the plus side our FG conversion rates of 96.55% ranks the Jets #1
And, of course, this will set the team up for even more embarrassment next season. We all just know that, when one accidentally ends up happening next season, that this team is going to celebrate harder than most Super Bowl winners do.
My oldest is graduating high school this year. She was 2 when the Jets were last in the playoffs. And still reading this message board and rooting for this franchise. Nice to have this group to suffer with.
My son is 17, same here. Watches every game with me every year and they give him and all the rest of us absolutely NOTHING!
Ok, BOTH of you go stand in a corner. When you are done with your 15 minutes in the corner I want 1,000 lines, "I will NOT expose my kid to NY Jets Football!" "I will NOT expose my kid to NY Jets Football!!" Talk about sports grade Child Abuse!
More sad statistics for the Jets: 44 year old Phillip Rivers, in 3 games this year after coming out of a 5 year retirement, has thrown 4 TD passes. In 9 games, Justin Field has thrown 7, just 3 more than Rivers in three times as many games In 6 appearances this season, Tyrod Taylor has only thrown 1 more TD pass (5) than Rivers (4) In the same number of starts as Rivers, Brady Cook has thrown 3 fewer TDs than Rivers In his second game back from a 5 year retirement, Rivers threw for 277 yards Justin Fields is the only QB on the Jets roster who has surpassed that total. It happened once, against the Cowboys. Rivers' 277 passing yard total in his second game back would be the second most passing yards by a Jets QB this season if he played for us. Rivers' game against the Seahawks, his first game in 5 years with only three days of practice to get ready, featured Rivers completing 66.7% of his passes. This was only surpassed 4 times by Jets QBs on the season. Fields did it three times (vs. Pittsburgh, @Miami, vs. Dallas) and Taylor did it 1 time (@ Tampa Bay) Brady Cook equaled this completion percentage 1 time (@Jacksonville) Rivers worst game, his first game, saw him throw for 120 yards. Jets QBs finished below this 5 times this season.
