If Vinny spurned the Jets for the Pats, that would be one thing. The Jets didn't want him anymore, and he wants to play. Now if Vinny would've gotten into the playoff game against the Jets and somehow beat us, that would change everything. Do I wish VT was for any other friggin team--absolutely. But I don't fault him for wanting to keep playing. I'm 45 years old and despite protests from my wife, my parents, and my knee surgeon, I'm still out there slinging the ball around. Who knows, maybe Vinny will be back with the Jets next year.
I cut myself sometimes when the pain is too much to bear,Ouch that hurt ! Ouch ,vinny save me from myself!
I agree. I hate the Pats but I always liked Vinny and I can't fault him for choosing to play over being reitred, although I hated seeing him there. A guy I grew up and played HS hoops with was the Pats #1 pick in 1990 and I still couldn't root for them. I rooted for him to do well but not the Pats, and they weren't even good then, they were terrible. Then of all things, Parcells cut him and Miami picked him up, he played four seasons each for the two teams I hate the most.
I just thought of our worst nightmare : Vinny turning around and playing for those damn fish.... ...fortunately, the Fish would have trouble even getting to .500, let alone the PLayoffs, let alone the Superbowl..... :finssuck:
