There may be some light at the end of the tunnel for Jets fans afterall! Can he be forced to sell the team, or does he just lose it if he goes to prison?

Im still trying to figure out what it means. It's not related to trafficking but it looks like some kind of "pay for your position" kinda thing that Woody brokered? Who knows. I mean just the fact that he's associated with Epstein is bad no matter what. Or at least it SHOULD be, who knows these days.

Yikes. Never saw this one. Not great. I want him out because I hate him as our team's owner but I also want him out because I want every single person involved with Epstein to go down in flames.

Not related to this, but Woody related:

    https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46953218/nfl-filed-grievance-nflpa-stop-report-cards

At the NFL league meeting in March, New York Jets chairman Woody Johnson -- who along with Art Rooney of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Robert Kraft of the New England Patriots, Michael Bidwill of the Arizona Cardinals and David Tepper of the Carolina Panthers received ownership grades of D or worse -- called the survey "totally bogus" and hinted that it violated the CBA.

Johnson said he took issue with "how they collected the information [and] who they collected it from. [It] was supposed to be according to the agreement we have with the league. It's supposed to be a process [where] we have representatives, and they have representatives, so we know that it's an honest survey.

"And that was violated, in my opinion. I'm going to leave it at that, but I think there are a lot of owners that looked at that survey and said this is not fair, it's not balanced, it's not every player, it's not even representative of the players."

Zero chance of anything happening. The Democrats in Congress has had all of this information for almost a decade (through Congressional subpoena) ... if any of it was of value in toppling anyone (including Trump's ambassador to England), you would have seen it a decade ago. The only reason some of it is being leaked now is because the Democrats want the fact that they lost the shutdown fight spectacularly off the front page (and it is working for that purpose).

You should read into who started trying to track down records and when it started and when records were obtained.

The ties are deep. One of Epsteins biggest financial clients was Libet Johnson, Woodys sister. Epstein had a very expensive property in Vail Colorado gifted to him by the Johnsons that was one of the few unreported assets. It sold after his death for $24 mill but unlike his other properties the proceeds did not have to go to the Epstein Victims Fund.

Examining Jeffrey Epstein’s Vail connections following new revelations | VailDaily.com

Thats just the financial ties. Obviously Woody and Epstein/Maxwell went to the same parties and who knows what else, as my picture, and these emails, are showing...

    EDIT: Vail is in Colorado

I do remember the Vail property thing, I didn't know it was tied to the Johnsons. Investigate this POS and every POS with even a shred of a tie to Epstein. That's not political or football-related either. It's basic human decency and wanting justice.

All I can say is, "Say it ain't so". I know Woody sucks as an owner but have no idea about the Woody the person. I am with BroadwayAaron. This is not about football. But let's not make this political either.

@Petrozza - Boss this is your site. Things might get out of hand here. Feel free to lock it or keep it open. Up to you.

This could all very well be nothing as well. I guess we'll see what happens. It looks like congress finally has enough votes to release the full files.

I mean, there's a fair amount of Woody's J&J money that is basically the opioid crisis. He's a dirty piece of shit and we've known that for decades. Epstein emails won't matter to me unless they name him as one of the pedophiles

Compared to what Bob Kraft and Jerry Jones were caught doing, this is small shit. Nowhere near enough to force Woody into a divestment. Now IF Woody were involved in the actual trafficking, that's a different conversation all together.

Looks like he is only mentioned in reference to her intelligence as she was on some Fellowship connected to Woody? Basically nothing at all there. We can dream, but Woody is not selling based on this. Keep digging though!

It started in 2019 when the House Oversight Committee (controlled by the Democrats) started investigating Alex Acosta and the 2008 Epstein plea agreement. Prior to that, the House and Senate leadership (both Republican and Democrats) would have been aware of any national security concerns arising from Epstein's activities and subsequent arrest and plea bargain, beginning sometime in the mid-2000s. But getting back to my point, the rank and file on the Oversight Committee would have gotten their hands on these emails sometime in 2019.

Releasing the files was a topic long before the shutdown .
