It's embarrassing, Matthew Berry even tweeted this in response lol "Good lord this is so dumb. If Aaron Glenn won't name the starter I will. It's Justin Fields. There. You're welcome." That's really something when analyst are making fun of it out in the open on the twitterverse. He's just detached, I agree he is trying to be Parcells but that is such an antiquated approach, he's done nothing and he acts like he is our savior.

Probably not going to be the case, but the best scenario that gets the Jets back on track in less than five years is if most of the board is wrong about Glenn. Parcells won 3 games his first year with Giants and almost got fired during it. I am still open and willing to wait and see how the entire season plays out. The worse than Kotite talk has subsided. The stupid brain dead penalties seem to be on the decline. There are definitely some signs pointing in the right direction. The biggest thing is we still have no qb and a pretty weak WR room.
Baby steps lol. Look I will give him credit where due, I didnt see it mentioned anywhere but he came out on the field and got on the offense immediately before Breece broke the big one, Glenn +1. I also want to know why in the world he called a TO right before the 2 minute warning when we were trying to run the clock, Glenn - 1. Either way it was never about the record, if we were 4-5 it would be the same conversation. This was one of his better games and I watched the presser with baited breath but he didn't say anything incredibly stupid, Glenn +1 Is there hope? Maybe a glimmer but it's going to take more than a great performance one week against a horrible defense followed by a game against leagues worst offense that we would have lost if it were not for 2 kick return TDs. Fact is that it's up to us to use our best judgement evaluating Glenn this season and decide if we want to trust our next 4 years and shiny new QB to this regime or move on, once we have seen enough to make an informed opinion then we can proceed to bitch on the internet accordingly.
Anyone yelling that Glenn is an awful head coach, or a failure, 9 games into his career should be fully ignored. Just like anyone crowning Glenn as a great head coach. Nobody is able to make those conclusions right now unless they want it to be that way, and yes.... there are a lot of jet fans that, for reasons I can't understand other than to say "I told you so," want the team to lose and stay in the gutter. The self loathing is nothing I experience in any of my other fanbases
