When I watched the netflix show QB1 he was such a likeable character when in HS I really hoped he would be great when he turned pro
I'd also like to give Quincy Williams some "love." He's been all over the place today. At least some guys only need a kick in the pants...
So this will be like Rocky II right? When he held back the left hook until the end of the fight? Except for us it's any designed QB runs and the end of the fight is week 15.
I agree however Hall would have to be a fool to resign with this team. Outside those handful of draft picks, which they will almost certainly fuck up, there really isn't anything to be super positive about, soon enough, for a RB's shelf life. He'll never win anything of significance by staying with this team and, by the time they are competitive, if ever, he'll be at the end of his career.
He’s been a really good kid and has grown into a good man. He just can’t figure out how to play loose. It sucks to see him struggle.
How dumb would it be to not even draft a premium pick QB next spring and try to sign Geno Smith or some other "decent" vet for a year or two while you just accumulate another couple excellent players? Seems like that might be a better strategy than to blow a top 3 pick or whatever on a longshot prospect.
On the plus side, Jets and Browns in their classic kits have two of my favorite uniforms. I’ve got the red zone going on a second screen and basically every other game looks like dogshit.
