Gotta give credit where credit is due though. We did put up 39 on them. They may be the worst, but concede 31.6 in average. So still we got a TD more than average, which is a very good accomplishment by the offense.
Shocked to have won that game - if there was a generational QB talent due to land in next years draft I would be a bit irked but as there isn't it was just good to see a competitive performance
Great win. The team showed some real grit by not folding up in the end. However, how many. watching this game were confident the one point lead would hold up in the last two minutes. I honestly admit, not me.
I'm so happy for these kids, you could see the excitement. But did anyone else nearly have a stroke when Hall pump faked, flashing back to Leon Johnson and the infamous halfback pass in Parcells' first year? Final minute against Detroit, win and in, and somehow they decide to rely on the running back to throw a ball into the end zone which of course was picked off.
