Ty Simpson is another coach's kid as well. His father is the head coach at FCS Tennessee-Martin.

Nussmeier, Becht, Simpson, all coach's kids. I have no proof to this statement but I believe coach's kid QBs are usually safer bets. Sometime when I have more time I will see if that theory is correct.

    Classic and Recent NFL Examples

    Player Parent (Role) Notes

Peyton & Eli Manning Archie Manning – longtime NFL QB Both became students of the game early — football IQ over athleticism.
Kellen Moore (Boise State → Cowboys OC) Tom Moore – high school coach Not physically gifted, but a playbook savant; turned coach immediately.

The fact that Aaron Rodgers is killing it in Pittsburgh and had his worst year of his career on the Jets, as well as that injury goes to show you that this franchise is beyond cursed.

Even if we had Patrick Mahomes he would suck.

There are deep rooted issues with this organization and I don't know how they can be fixed.

I think a change in ownership would be a good start. THAT will never happen. The Jets are Johnson's own personal cash cow.

Rodgers looks like dog shit tonight. They’re near the bottom of the league in most offensive categories and he’s averaging less yards than he did here.

Watch them struggle to make the playoffs.

yeah I think he spoke a little too soon the tides have turned tonight

Baltimore and Cincinnati with hurt QBs helps their playoff chances a lot though

    Rodgers
    Flacco
    Smith
    Darnold

His last season in Green Bay was just as “bad”.

It's pretty simple. Woody sells the team and everything becomes better. It starts at the top.
