https://www.espn.com/contributor/adam-schefter/c7eafacdbc6a3 Best offensive player is done mentally and now he's hurt (or "hurt"). Breece wants out and is posting "#FREE20" on social media. This season has been terrible and seems like we need to prep for it to get worse. If we're without our two best offensive weapons buckle up for an all time rock bottom season, fellas
Lazard was out last week for some phantom personal reason that was never explained. I love GW and have defended him a lot on this board. I don’t doubt that he might’ve tweaked something but this sounds more like the franchise giving him a couple weeks of maintenance in a lost season in collaboration with him based on his frustrations. I’d guess if we weren’t 0-6, he’d be playing on Sunday. He’s also clearly not an upper echelon receiver although I think he could put upper echelon numbers up with a better QB. He looks so determined to try to score make a 21 point play every time he touches the ball in a relevant spot in the game that he does too much.
I'd really like to see him play on a team where he doesn't feel the need to make a 21 point play or else we lose the game handily. He's super talented, no doubt in my mind he has the tools to be a top 10 WR in this league. But I dunno if it happens here unless we turn it around big time. He's got some mental stuff to clean up and this isn't the place to do that. At least not this version of the Jets.
And here's the situation anyone foresaw coming. What the hell do you do at WR especially if GW is out? Can't wait to see what they do with their offense without him. Also, regarding Breece. Does "free 20" mean he wants out? Guy just said he wants to be a Jet a few days ago. Could it mean free him as in give him more tocuhes and opportunities? Maybe something to do with getting ZERO targets Sunday?
Classic bad to worst syndrome. Insisting to play JF is destroying this team morale. Apparently AG is not smart enough to see that.
I saw him whack his head on the ground near the end of the game and thought I saw his arms stiffen, my guess is they got away with not sending a concussion to the tent.
Indeed, I post a similar sentiment in another therad and actually think he has lsot part of the team already... look no further than their play.
This is funny. Garrett and Justin played in college, and Garrett has gone on and on what a great person/QB Justin is. I guess Garrett has more to say behind closed doors, or in the blue tent.
