We may have set a record for fewest yards ever today if not for Breece Hall.

So many times he pulled out some magic to at least get 5-6 yards when he was completely stuffed.

Then late in the game Fields drops the snap, Breece Hall just picks it up and takes off for 7 yards

how can you trade this guy?

should be trading the guys that are underperforming not the guys just bringing it to work

He will not resign. It's not happening. You can tell he doesn't want to be here and nobody can blame him.

Hopefully they can get a third or better.

Heard Breece leads all nfl players in “explosive plays” which I believe is 15 yards or more. Crazy he’s about to have a Saquon Barkley type glow up right before our eyes.

why get high draft pick anyway? so you can pick another good kid with that high draft pick, make him suffer here, only to see him prosper elsewhere? what is the point anyway?

I was wondering the same thing. They need to get him involved in the passing game.

Respect you as a poster Vilma and almost always agree with you.

However in this case I couldn’t disagree more. I am not sure why so many here have been down on Breece. The guy is just plain and simply a stud. If he ends up on a contender he will be an incredibly valuable addition.

Of the big 3 that draft - Sauce, Garrett and Hall. I think Hall is the best of them all. He just plays a position that is not as valued.

Agreed. He’s a stud. Gna make another team very happy. I mean his QBs have been Zac Wilson and Justin fields his entire career.

There were a bunch of video breakdowns of Breece last year where he looks awful. He doesn’t break tackles. He doesn’t have break away speed any more post-knee injury or he’s just making business decisions. And we’ve also faced some of the worst run defenses in the league.

He’s still a good player. He’s not who we thought he was going to be in the first 7 games his rookie year. He’s probably best suited in an outside zone defense he cut and go scheme.

For a 5th rounder, you may as well be in compensatory pick territory if he walks and signs a decent deal. For a guy that, while disappointing at times, has been an exciting and game-breaking player here to be traded for pennies on the dollar is not worth it to me. It's depressing.

I wish they'd let Isaiah Davis carry the ball more. Maybe if he showed something I'd feel better about giving Hall away for a mid Day 3 pick.

Also, if you trade Breece, literally who plays RB for them the rest of the year? There's Davis and no clue who else.

I won’t even entertain the idea of a piss poor trade like that

    ok I will

Darren Mougey works his whole life to become a general manager, finally gets the job, and in his 1st year:

He signs a QB that can’t throw (Justin Fields)
He drafts a WR that can’t catch (Arian Smith)
    And
He trades away a RB that can do it all. For a measly 5th round draft pick

dude better pack his bags now

Breece stays. Not for a 5th. Have to know your damn worth if you’re a GM.

    Yes we suck no doubt

But we are NEVER going to get better if we keep on trading away our few good players. The only way that makes sense is if you get a fucking haul…the best example is what Jimmy Johnson got when he traded Herschel Walker to the Vikings for a boatload of picks, but even JD trading Adams to Seattle for two first rounders was a great deal.

We don’t have anyone worth that kind of haul…certainly not Breece. I doubt even Q fetches a first rounder…maybe he does but even then I would think twice.

We have precious few good players…getting rid of them only creates yet another hole to fill…and lord knows we have plenty already.

I’m not for giving away good players. We already need a QB, an Edge, a WR, a LB, a S or two, and maybe still a CB2 (though Stephens has looked better and Brownlee also looked ok yesterday, so maybe we are good at CB if either of those guys can show they can play.

I’m not giving up Breece for peanuts when he’s like the only weapon we have outside of GW (and maybe Taylor if he keeps developing)…and I’m certainly not giving up Q only to create a huge hole at DT again…

He’s a RB on his last year. I’m not sure how anyone thought he’d fetch more than a 4th/5th.

I get your point and I'm not sure I disagree but when it's clear the player wants out what do you do? We would have to overpay to keep Hall and now he's posted "#FREE20" on social media
