I mean everyone is like a broken record at this point but if you can’t trust your quarterback to throw forward passes in a two minute drill when you have time on your side then you need to make a quarterback change. No matter how you look at this it’s complete ineptitude from top to bottom.
What I can't figure out is how do they not even try a short pass there (their 'specialty') it looked like they were almost in fg range. Heck I would've thought about sending out Folk for a long FG. It's a sad situation right now.

Best possible view on this is that they didn't want to give the ball back to Denver and possibly be down 17-6. We are somehow by the grace of God still in this game at least in the scoreboard (even if not in reality). Maybe he didn't want to take risks and regroup at half. Or... He's an idiot.

I had at least SOME hope that Fields might potentially save his career this year. He’s actually regressing. 5 for 7 and 17 yards for the half. Crazy to keep playing him.
We could hear the fans reaction in the stadium from the TV. Incredulous as the Jets allowed the clock to tick away. 10-6 score. The defense and special teams are playing well enough for the Jets to win. But it feels like the Jets are down big because of Tanner & Fields.
