All joking aside, at what point do you go to Taylor? Fields is not a young rookie quarterback that you need to develop and be patient with, do the Jets have any intention of actually trying to win football games?
The rest of the team actually came to play today too. That’s why you put Taylor in at halftime. If we were getting blown out as per usual it wouldn’t really matter.
Fields has gotten to the point where he’s impeding the maturation and development of the rest of the offense. That’s when you have to make the move. You’re stunting the tackles growth along with GW5 and the younger receivers. Arian Smith was open on that go route. Fields threw it to the wrong shoulder by 5 yards. It wasn’t even close.
Watch it will be 20-6 at halftime and Fields will trot back out for the 2nd half. Throw a TD pass and pad his stats late

I mean it's week 6 in a clear cut tank season, and Tyrod Taylor is even more clearly not a possible long term answer then Fields is. People need to take a breathe, and maybe acknowledge how utterly ridiculous a lot of of those preseason 2025 expectations really were. They are who they realistically looked like coming in atm.
Jets are incredibly lucky to only be down 4 with the ball and 3 minutes left in the half. They also get the ball to start the 2nd half. Yet it feels like they are down 21 points.
And saleh. We just didn’t have the patience and so many, including myself called for his firing. Not realizing we would also be losing that defense.
I never expected them to be good. I've been saying as far back as last year that this was a throwaway year and they're lucky to even got a coach to take the job. I actually suggested keeping the interim coach for one more year to reset things because of the mess they were left in. That said, you should still be trying to win football games and this guy clearly cannot do that for you. It is extremely clear. As someone else mentioned, He's actually impeding the progress of other players at this point.
