If "it's not about Rodgers" why do you keep trying to make it about Rodgers? What did Rodgers do for the Jets while he was here? His future is already in the past.
I just don't see how things would be different if Glenn kept Rodgers here. Tyrod just now put together a similar game to what Rodgers has done when he was here, maybe better actually, since he was mobile and there was a lot of pressure that would have killed Rodgers. Fields had the highest EPA in NFL in the 1st game, and against Buffalo, as bad as he was, Rodgers was even worse in his last game here again Buffalo. Rodgers is not saving the Jets, that much was already proven without Glenn and would be no different with him. Maybe even worse.
Not almost We are done Season over in Sept We are NOT making the playoffs, and right now, I was thinking we’d win 5 games but I’m thinking that may have been a bit optimistic. We are a fucking bottom feeder piece of shit team that is one of the worst 2 or 3 in the league…our company are teams like the Panthers, Bears, and Saints. We are looking at a top 3 pick, and honestly, I’d at least be looking forward to that but there is no reason to think that Mougey will make the right decision drafting our next QB. Chances are more that we land another Sanchez or Zach than someone like Stroud or Daniels
As Jets fans we should already know traditional stats and percentages are meaningless. Whatever the expected outcome is, it's usually the opposite.
Amen GQ, I been watching this team since 1967, JHC that is 58 effin years... and I refuse to watch these underachievers play uncompetitive FB anylonger. Like you when and if they ever get it back to playing - competitive / smart FB - then I start watching them agin.
Now, this is about as "Same Ole' Jets" as it can get. BOTH the Jets and Phins blow but wouldn't it be the biggest colossal kick in the sack if they were "just" bad enough to edge the Jets out of the higher pick. Write it down.
I hear you man I've been there. I stepped away from the Jets & NFL and all sports really for about a couple of years before about week 3 2023. It was then I realized just how important the Jets and sports really are. A escape for a few hours even with the team not doing as well as I'd like. It helps and it's FUN even when it's not fun know what I mean? It's all good just keep it in perspective. Don't take this stuff too serious. Heck even if the Jets lose tomorrow night I may pay to go see Cowboys-Jets knowing there may be more Cowboys fans than Jets fans in the stands that day. I LOVE being there I'll hope for a Jets W.
The problem with this organization, is it's a top grossing NFL franchise, the stadium is filled most of the games, of course the majority is the opposing teams fans, that's the way it's always been, where this team is now, is far worse than any other era I've experienced, the Jets and the Browns are the most laughable franchises in all of sports
Yeah…we are down there with the dregs like the Browns and the Panthers for sure…and that is in large part due to ownership. These owners just make bad decisions, bad hires, they meddle when they shouldn’t, and they just don’t know how to get out of their own way. That’s why we are in such a hopeless situation. Our owner literally does not know what to do.
I will be at the Dallas game. Probably the only game I'll see this year. Not expecting a win, but I am also not expecting a no-show. They will get booed out of the stadium if they don't show up and Glenn really will have his back up against the wall.
The Dolphins can’t throw, run, or score points. The Dolphins can’t stop the pass, the run, or other teams from scoring points. How do we think the Jets will manage to hand them the game?
The same way they always do, I can't believe this is a Monday night game! The Jets will make Tua look like Marino. On a side note, can't believe there isn't a thread about this, but the Jets have PFFs highest rated punter after 3 games, epic
Jets just can't seem to ever get it right, however the fanbase is withdrawing from the team, social media posts are getting ghosted, message boards are scarce, we're all tired of losing.
My wife and in-laws are all diehard Dallas fans. Considering giving them my tickets if we lose tonight. I can't convince myself going to that game will be in any way fun. From leaving CT to trying to leave the stadium to get back to CT.
You should try the drive from Central PA. It takes me longer to get out of the parking lot at MetLife than it does to drive the NJTPK to the PA TPK. My daughter-in-law is a huge Dallas fan and my Son has no choice but to support them. Wifey and I will show up in our Jets gear of course. If it's a blowout, we're outta there before the 4th qtr.
