He hasn’t been good. The blocking assignments are horrendous though, I gotta wonder who is calling it out at the line

One thing that stuck out to me today was how reliant our passing game is on Wilson. He had twice as many receptions as the rest of our WRs combined.

This is yet another one of those things that everyone knew was a glaring weakness prior to the season. It just seems like time and time again we expect these things to magically correct themselves through divine intervention or something.

It's one of many issues, but you can't win when you have one NFL WR on your roster.

It’s so aggravating dude. I highlighted Tory Horton (among others) all offseason in the draft forum. The Jets took a useless linebacker instead.

Horton has multiple touchdowns already this year.

Only the Jets would draft a notorious deep threat only to throw him balls exclusively behind the line of scrimmage

actually that one is incorrect, lots of teams do that these days

chiefs have Xavier Worthy and Pat Mahomes and yet he only gets passes at the line too

Fair but have we taken one deep shot in three games yet? The safeties are never going to back off the LOS if there’s no threat. I know you and I disagreed on taking early down shots early in the game (even if they fall incomplete) but Smith is fast enough to take a crack at that if we get single high.

The big difference is the Chiefs don't need to chuck it downfield to open up their offense. We look like a high school team and refuse to use the guy we drafted to his biggest strength even though it would help us tremendously. Baffling.
