He inherited his old man's fragile body apparently. Would be a bummer if he misses this game, he led TEs in snap count and looked good in all facets.
i think he’s certainly going to miss this game. Can’t practice on Wednesday usually always means out on Sunday
I'd agree normally but the beat reporters said he was moving fine on the side field yesterday. We'll see what today brings. If it's not at least LP then yea, he's out.
I sure hope we don't see a 20 point blowout. If this team wants to "blaze new paths" then they need to come away 10 points or less if they lose.
Yeah….the Pitt game sure felt like a game we “should have” won and we beat ourselves with a stupid fumble and the Steelers hit a 60 yard field goal…those don’t happen often, and it feels like we didn’t lose to a better team, we beat ourselves. This week will be different, because the Bills ARE a MUCH better team with an MVP QB. On the plus side, we have played them tough at times lately so yeah, I would be very disappointed if we get blown out. I don’t expect to win, but it will feel a lot better losing a one score game than getting blown off the field by 20. I wish this game came later in the year for us, but there’s a slight chance we catch the Bills coming off a high after their win and maybe they kind of overlook us a bit…who knows
Take every chance to hit Josh Allen. Legally of course. Yeah, that will be hard because Allen will cry for a flag every single time but Allen has shown to be a different QB when he takes a hit. Last year on the road in Houston, the Texans wrecked him and Allen was simply horrendous the rest of the game I think he was like 8-30 passing or something lol. mvp level. So yeah, take every opportunity and he gives those opportunities out a lot with his running and even his rolling out and waiting until the very last millisecond to throw it. Which is another point - the Jets have to cover the Bills receivers all the way until the whistle. He will launch himself in midair on the sideline and uncork it 30 yards downfield after running around in the pocket for 5 seconds. Can't sleep on that
Ed Oliver hurt at practice, in a walking boot. We may catch a big break. Not that I think it'll matter, but every little bit helps.
Josh Allen is great, but he's not Aaron Rodgers. HIs strengths are different and he may not be able to take advantage of Brandon Stephens the same way AR did.
I think this one is going to be ugly. 14 point loss or higher. The Bills are better than the Steelers. Josh Allen > Rodgers at this point in their careers.
