Thats because the Jets under the Woody's are the definition of "insanity". apparently it doesn't take much to impress the Woody's in a job interview. I mean they are trust fund baby's and never earned their own dollar in their life.

it all comes down to we lost on a 60 yard fg. It easily could have missed and we win the game and make all the mistakes we made disappear.

No wrong! there were many things leading up to that, if stephens doesn't drop a pass from Rodgers right to him, if Gipson don't fumble the ball, if Glenn don't burn 2 timeouts like a dumb shit, 99.9% chance we win this game and 60 yard field goal is never kicked.

And yah, now we are left with all week to stew and wait for another loss to the Bills and an 0-2 start to the season….

    Life of a Jets fan…

This was a winnable game and one we needed based on our early schedule, but bad coaching, bad D, and bad ST’s cost us the game

Funny that we are so used to blaming the offense but today, that was the only unit that looked good

First 2 games are basically pre season. Pre season is tryouts . I saw some encouraging positives today. But the secondary was a huge disappointment . I would expect that to be better under Glenn. Some stupid soj penalties and mistakes don’t help either. Don’t go for 2 twice and fail, and we’re tied.

Do me a favor.l, and I swear I mean this respectfully and with courtesy.

Go look up Boswell’s numbers last year, and reconsider this post.

If the bills lose tonight we’re all 0-1 and week one is a wash.

That was another issue. That penalty before the half could have been the difference between 3 more points.

Goes back on Glenn. This looked identical to Saleh.

The more I reflect the more the positive side takes hold after this one. The ONE thing I HAD to see was if Fields was going to shit the bed. I came away with a very positive feeling. As long as he can keep that going, that offense is going to win us games. The rest of this bullshit can be fixed and we'll find out what kind of coordinators and coaches we have in this group but Fields is the key. No amount of team unity or talent can overcome bad QB play. We have reason to be optimistic.

Thats ridiculous to expect Stephens to catch that ball diving on his back. Yes the fumble probably cost us this game. We lost on a kick that is probably a miss 7 out of 10 times. It happens

If Justin fields runs like he ran today, he will be injured before week 8. fact of the matter is lazard was a healthy scratch today(over Gipson lol) with this pathetic receiving core we are doomed,. The defense totally stinks and I expect it to get no better under Glenn.

Not surprising to me. Jets will almost win a lot of games this year. I think with a very few exceptions (Gipson fumble) the Jets played just about as good a game as we should ever expect to see them play. Fields is still a uniquely talented QB who doesn't see the field or make good decisions. That's why, with 2 possessions in the last 5 mins of the game he couldn't get a first down. Many of us thought the Jets WR corps was the weakest in the NFL and they showed that today. GW is a great #2 receiver and a #1 on his best days but he's never shown he could be a game-winner and he showed about what his ceiling has shown to be today. Gipson should be cut. Not because of the fumble, but because of the fumble and the perfectly blocked TD return he tripped on, in addition to his history of fumbling and muffing punts. Since week 1 his rookie season he hasn't shown that he can do anything 100 other UDFA journeymen WR/DBs/Return men can do. What today also showed IMO is that the Jets LBs and safeties might also be the weakest of their position groups in the NFL and those weaknesses were tailor-made for an aged Aaron Rodgers to feast on short and mid-range throws all day. I don't think this is on the coaches. We have a team with a lot of holes and limitations and I think what we saw might be about as good as it gets this year.

why would you think I would take that at all as being disrespectfull? I first had to look up who Boswell is lol. Ok i checked he is a GREAT kicker, but I cant be mad at the D for losing on a 60yd fg
