No bullshit. This is real. YouTube is offering the ST for $198 for Veterans. I just signed up for it..It does require a subscription for the following year at the regular price so there's always that to consider however, things change over time and maybe they do the same promotional next year? https://hosted-pages.id.me/2025-youtube-tv-sunday-military-offer Beats always trying to find streams as they're getting harder to locate every year. This has been a PSA brought you by Cman. Go Jets!!
There is also a promo for college students or anybody have a college student in their family. Thanks to my son, I signed up to NFL Sunday Ticket with Student Discount after a quick verification thru his school email address. https://tv.youtube.com/learn/nflsundayticket/studentplan/ This has been a PSA brought you by BrookMan. Go Jets!!
I'm not paying 200 bucks for a fraction of the product I got for free harassing DirecTV reps back in 2010. The legitimacy of the product is in question IMO. I can't reward that.
It was far easier dealing with DirecTV than with YouTube definitely. It was just getting more difficult to find a virus free streaming site these days and with the wife being both a Jet fan and a Chief fan, I had to make accommodations for the both of us. Just easier for my situation.
I can't wait to see what the prices are once they renegotiate the broadcasting rights and, presumably, make streaming more of the focal point. The price is already unattainable for huge amounts of people now.
Bestbuy has Sunday ticket deal thats cheaper than youtubes prices too. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?id=pcat17071&st=sunday+ticket
I had Sunday Ticket for years and years, back even before AT&T acquired DirecTV, when I used to pay like $140 or something like that for the whole season First, I’ll say that service under AT&T went way downhill compared to DirecTV, but I kept it because it was really the only way that I could see to watch the Jets live each week…I hated the move to YouTube…hated having to have YouTube TV, hated having to set up my teams to save it was just a wonky interface that I didn’t love…and then they got the prices up to like $400 here in LA. So last year, I just cut it and instead moved to the NFL App…like $100/year and I get every game, including full versions, condensed versions, etc. I don’t have to worry about recording or saving because they are all there…going back years and years also. The only catch is I can’t watch the games live…have to watch them after they are over, but the trade off is way worth it to me. The YouTube actually tried to renew me saying I was signed up for auto renewal even after I cancelled, and when I called them they wanted to know why I cancelled and when I told them it’s way overpriced, they offered me a $30 discount on the $400 price…I had to laugh at the poor guy Anyway, NFL App I like a lot…if you can get used to watching the games after they end it’s a great way to go
Yeah, I just hated the YouTube interface…still do. Even last night, the game was on YouTube free…I was watching, but had to run out on a quick errand and paused it, thinking I’d come back and pick up where I left off, but I was gone a bit longer than I thought I would be and when I came back, the game was over and it had unpaused…ah well…probably something I did wrong But NFL app had the full game replay and then the condensed I like a lot…can watch the whole game in like 40 minutes…you lose a bit of the flow because it’s play play play nonstop, but it works pretty well…I’ll typically watch the Jets game as the full version, but then I go through most of the other games each weekend on condensed I don’t know, it sucks you have to wait until the game is over, but to me, the tradeoff is worth it…much cheaper, get all the games, no recording necessary, condensed games…honestly I love it and wouldn’t go back to Sunday Ticket especially with the crazy pricing now
The interface is definitely poorly written trash and they don't even have to improve it because of this cash cow.
Personally, I LOVE YT-TV!! If only from a cost perspective alone. Now, having super-dee-duper, unlimited data, internet in my home is a base moral necessity for my job so we can start there. If you don't have that then ALL the new ways to watch content are useless. However, I get it though, moving service to service to service is a pain in the ass and a waste of resources. You'd think the DirecTV's, Dishes would figure out that, at the end of those "trials," it might be a better business practice to have cool cost effectives ways to RETAIN customers vs. forcing folks to change from one to the next and the next in a round robin of pain. You have to switch at the end of each "introductory" period to another service to keep the costs down. It's become insane. I cross my fingers that YT-TV keeps it under $100 for general service. We'll see. Can't wait to see with ST looks like on this platform. I haven't had ST for over a decade due to costs. I do still keep my NFL+ subscription thought, ($100) so that I can replay everything in condensed version so I can come on here and be a "know it all."
