WR leaves a lot to be desired but as you have already laid out it’s just year one. This roster can’t be fixed in just one year. DM is focusing on the LOS for now, along with resigning the “keepers” which is the proper way to proceed with the state of this current roster.
Your original statement was a farse…”on track to be worst than JD. Now you turn that around” and highlight JD performance as stellar which amounted to one great draft and garbage the rest. His moves on year one all went away. Pound per pound Mooge has done a better job year one with less after the dismal mess he left us with AR and company. I will not repeat what Lon Chaney pointed out perfectly. He navigated thru a rough first year contractually and free agency perfectly. Yes WR is still a weakness, but aside from G5 the rest of the receivers we drafted under JD were dismal, as most of the highly overpaid free agents and the worst CS ever that he selected. JD had one good draft in his tenure and the worst under achieving team ever.

Is it because his dad is a season ticket holder?? We have 4 TEs and a FB on the roster, doesn’t seem like good roster management.
This was a pretty weak receiver draft too. It’s not like there was a ton of talent in the mid rounds IMO. Any good free agent receiver was on the north side of 30 or returned to their club. There wasn’t a ton to work with to improve receiver this offseason.
Corley to the Browns, right to the active roster. That adds up. edit: now reports are saying the practice squad
Great news as we were all hopeful for. Wonder where Smith fits in their plans. As for TE, not clear why Ruckert needs to remain in the active roster. Can’t we move him to the practice squad as a minimum?
You overreact a lot. "insane", "extremely buffling", etc are not the right words to use when we are literally talking about #6 vs #7 guy on the weakest position group probably in the entire NFL. If anything, the fact NO ONE wanted them on the main roster and they are back should tell you you overreacted. As far as the "starting" position, I am not sure who is a better punt returner right now. Pritchett muffed a punt in the Eagles game, which was a big showcase for him. Are you sure he will step up with 80K people watching when it matters the most? According to AG while Gipson was hurt and reporters and is in preseason didn't see him much, he did see him catch 145 kicks in a row. Again, I am not saying I would have kept Gipson, but AG's explanation is certainly reasonable and not insane. And we have him back, and he might still get a shot. There is simply no reason to overreact at this point.
How many times do I have to say the same thing about this decision most likely not being consequential before you stop pretending I’m saying it’s world ending? I also didn’t know baffling was such a strong word. I’m baffled by plenty of things I forget about 10 seconds later. Unfortunately Gipson sucks so I probably won’t forget about this baffling decision in 10 seconds.
I suspected he would go unclaimed and sign elsewhere. He wasn't good, but has draft pedigree, maybe change of scenery will be good for him. Though I doubt it.
Championship for the Browns! Just laugh if Sanders first TD toss is dropped by Corley 2 steps from the end zone. lol
Where are you seeing Edwards to the Commanders? I don’t see that anywhere including the Commanders release
Unsubstantiated report from one dude on a podcast. I thought it was Mike Lombardi. It was Matt Lombardo. Big difference.
their running back room is busier than ours that’s why they traded that guy. They have some rookie who was killing it in camp. I don’t believe they signed Edwards
I went to the Commanders website and Edwards is not among the 14 players they’ve signed so far. Former Jets camp TE Lawrence Cager was however lol.
