Just documenting a rumor I heard directly from someone in the building at Florham Park.

Regarding the credibility, few weeks back, I heard (and saw pictures) about the locker room updates before they were publicly announced (even the players weren’t allowed access to see them).

At that time, it was relayed to me the Jets will be expanding the facility in Florham Park (both the locker room upgrades and facility expansion are direct products of the player’s survey indicating the Jets have a lot of improvements to be made).

Anyway, the same source also mentioned look out for a Breece Hall for Micah Parsons trade.

Could happen. Probably won’t. Just putting it out there after seeing the Russini report today. (Went to High School with her at Northern Valley Old Tappan, fun fact).

Edit: Also mentioned Brick Johnson is indeed involved in decisions being made.

Woody flat out denied that but I'd be more inclined to believe anybody else over him anyway.

Tbh he would hardly be worse than the brothers grim

I would also do that swap, we have other RBs and Hall was well off the pace for most of last season.

I don't know anything about Micah Parsons, but it seems the Jets badly need Breece Hall's receiving ability.

I'd sign up for that in a second.

No way Dallas trades Parsons straight up for Hall.

    + what exactly is the question. Hall and a 3rd? A 2nd?

The Jets have just doled out two huge deals with another couple of re-signings potentially around the corner. How much is Parsons gonna cost? He would be a great addition to Glenn’s defense but this is a team that is still without a franchise QB. Not sure if Parsons would be onboard for that?

Parsons is a great player and I’d love to have him, but this deal seems more like just rumor … it would take a lot to get Parsons for sure, more than just Hall straight up, and we need all the draft capital we can get to potentially secure a QB in the next draft if Fields doesn’t show he can do it. I do think we need pass rush help with only McD and a recovering JJ as starters, but feels like Parsons would be too costly in terms of contract and trade compensation

The other interesting guy potentially out there is Terry McCaulin…I think we need help at WR just as much as we do at pass rush, and he wants a trade…but again he’d be costly in terms of both comp and contract also…though likely not as much as Parsons

I’d love both guys on our team, but I just don’t see either happening…

    It means I'm an idiot.

Edit: per ESPN, Parsons has requested a trade.

Not for nothing, but this is par for Dallas and how they handle there business. Maybe they wait till the last minute but they always pay (over?) their stars.

McCaulin would be a nice haul and probably cheaper than Parsons but compensation may still be prohibitive…..

Any team with a ? at the QB position is going to struggle convincing players of that caliber to join the team if they want to win. The Jets history is going to haunt until they finally draft and develop a good QB.

It seems negotiations took a nasty turn especially after Jerry decided to pay Ferguson all that money.

In the history of the NFL ( or at least when they recorded sacks as an official statistic) only 2 players have had 12+ sacks in their first 4 years.

    Reggie White and Micah Parsons.

    Definitely good and stuff :D

I'd still bet my mortgage Parsons stays with the Cowboys.

Breece Hall and + definitely ain't getting Jerry's dick hard.

But all this Cowboys talk August 1st in a division where there going to be 3rd at best, maybe, just maybe give him a half chub.

Yeah…agree….the Cowboys do need help at RB but pass rusher > running back

Puff puff pass, the Cowboys would be completely stupid to do that, for Wilson maybe, RBs shelf life is really short, Hall was anything but spectacular last season.

There's a case to be made for him being the best pass rusher in the league right now. It would probably take Hall+1st round pick and maybe also a 2nd and/or 3rd rounder.

I’d give my left nut for Micah Parsons. So Breece Hall and some draft picks is, to quote those terrible commercials, “the easiest decision in the history of decisions.” and I like Breece Hall

a couple thoughts come to mind though dude.

I will entertain the idea that your rumor/source is legit for a second, but if it is, didn’t you just completely ruin your chance of ever getting anything from him/her again? Doesn’t seem worth it to be honest. I’d hung onto that juicy one

But also. I’d love the move, Parsons rushing the passer with Gardner and that other long, lengthy CB on the back end is an elite pass defense

The Jets were listed as one of the landing spots on a CBS article I read just because of the cap space, future cap space and no big QB contract to deal with.

It’d be pretty sick to add him into the mix.
