Or alternately, the 21 year old multimillionaire can grow up or deal with the consequences of a possible draft slide.

If this guy can get $100mn for the emotional distress of a low draft pick, Jets fans are sitting on a fucking goldmine after the last 50 years we’ve had.

If there ever was a case to be made against a plaintiff for filing a frivolous lawsuit, this is it. The expense of a clerk being handed a copy is already far more valuable than the suit itself. Unfortunately, the penalty for such in federal court is generally limited to $25,000 and expenses of all parties. I'm sure the NFL is in a position to throw many hours of high priced attorneys' billing into the case and this idiot, who claims to not be financially secure enough to hire a lawyer himself, will be paying through the nose for Goodell's henchmen. I have no problem with that; hopefully the league will find a worthwhile charity to receive those penalties - they don't need the pocket change.

I saw this. What a moron. With everything else going on in the world, this tool does something stupid like this. There wasn't any collusion. Am I in the NFL right now? I think not. I was spot on, in every post, about this kid. I'm not going to speak to his character because I don't know him. However, from a football standpoint, anyone with two brain cells to rub together along with a decent amount of football intelligence can SEE that he's not ready!

Now, having simmered on this for a week or so, I'm even MORE convinced! Now, I've gotten a chance to check his attitude. With the attitude I'm seeing/hearing, He'll be lucky if he's the 3rd QB on the Browns, by the time the season rolls around. If he's lucky. He's going to get every opportunity too. I'm already hearing that they'll have a big time 3 way race between Sanders, the 3rd round kid and the Squeelers cast off and worst draft pick in the last 10 years. Whoever wins of those three will compete with Flacco. I'll say it again, I'm just glad he's not a Jets problem.

So, full circle, all this idiot did, with his $100 million lawsuit was show everyone how much of an idiot he is. Have they even found out "who" it was, yet? I heard it was done "anonymously." I guess he isn't quite as dumb as I'm painting him.

It almost sounds as if you're suggesting Sanders filed the suit himself.

I love how all these grown men have such vitriol for a 23 year old kid who has done nothing wrong other than the fact that he’s pretty cocky.

I don’t think anyone has vitriol towards Sanders. It seems more that Sanders fans are holding all the vitriol because he was drafted where his talent dictated instead of where their hype machine said he should be drafted. This is the new world, players with loads of money have the ability to affect algorithms and push reels and highlight videos in front of everyone. It creates clicks and views, which in turn gets the media to latch onto that hype and start pushing the player as well because, as you should know, the media doesn’t care about truth, they care about what keeps viewers. Sanders had one of the biggest hype machines we’ve ever seen, and frankly I’m pretty impressed the NFL didn’t cave and stuck to their evaluations.

Sanders was a far better prospect in terms of skills translating to the pros than both Tebow and Manziel and fell 4 rounds deeper than him. Both were Heisman trophy winners with massive hype trains for their own individual reasons.

I guess they weren’t as cocky as Sanders? I also guess he had a way better marketing team as you’re insinuating it was all artificial hype.
