The easiest way for the NFL to avoid any "circus" would have been to just carry on with a business as usual attitude. The whole thing would have blown over in a few weeks - but we're still talking about it 8 1/2 years later.

Why not? Do you know how many picks JD had in each round after 43 and what he came out with? WAY worse than random selections. Not even close.

    worse how?

is the cs worse? or is it an unknown?
is the oline worse? or is it an unknown?
is the defense worse? or is it a new hc and new coordinator and you have no idea what it will be?
is the qb worse? or maybe the team will actually rally around him instead of disliking him because he is a douche.

so keep on whining and thinking the worst. if they do manage to do good i hope you dont enjoy it.

His argument is dumb too because “we got worse” from the year before when Zach Wilson started.

Zach Wilson started in 2023 and we went 7-10. Aaron Rodgers started in 2024 and we went 5-12.

The coaching staff is better (than Ulbrich, I have no idea if it is better than the previous bozo). The oline is worse. The defense is the same. And the QB is much worse.

Yes, we did. Our coaching staff went from one of the worst in football to the worst in football halfway through the season. Do you think that maybe played a role?

There's less talent on the roster, but the coaching staff is way better, so I don't think the team will be worse than last year.

less talent? what did we lose? rodgers and adams? i think that rodgers and adams were a cancer that brought the team down rather than added to it.
its pointless to converse with you. enjoy the site i wont be seeing your posts anymore.
i think the oline will be alot better than last year. fashanu showed he was a solid lt last year hopefully the kid they drafted will show the same.

the cs couldnt get worse than it was the past few years. i think that will be a major upgrade

wr room isnt as talented but how many #1 receivers do we need? ill take wilson over adams any day.

te position lost a solid player.

dl was disappointing last year but williams is a stud and mcdonald did pretty well last year.

they lost a very old over the hill lb, glenn seems to have a type for his lb corps and i think that will be fine.

the qb was an absolute douche who made nobody better. ill take a qb who actually works within the system over a douche who make it all about himself and ends up with half the team hating him. you can have that guy he doesnt work at an advanced age. good riddance.

Rodgers, Adams, Tyron Smith, Moses, Reddick, Kinlaw, Mosley, Reed. Some of those guys disappointed last year, but if Glenn+Engstrand (or Saleh+LaFleur for that matter) were coaching them, they'd have probably played better.
