    That isn't very comforting.

Our safeties were garbage for the most part. Ashton Davis played more than 0.

Then there must have been 28 other teams with smellier garbage in their secondaries.

Fair enough. I put the Big 10 above them though.

It’s also a bit skewed. We ranked 4th in the league in passing yards allowed but also faced the 8th least attempts. Teams ran all over us so they really had no need to pass.

I have an idea! Let's draft players who can help stop other teams from running all over us?

yep, makes sense. 207 is only maybe 45 spots away from Mr. irrelevant
    Lol
So I wonder how the Eagles and Howie Roseman take advantage of that

We made the leap of 15 spots For theGeorgia safety

    Hope he’s really good

Because it's not that simple. There are multiple factors. Teams threw less against us because they didn't have to. They were able to score points against us - and you can see that we were ranked pretty poorly in scoring defense, but good in yards against. We were also not able to take the ball away on defense. Maybe now we have a better chance. And finally, you have to look at the replacement value of the players you are drafting. We have several young DTs, like Leonard Taylor. If AG does not think a DT available in the 4th round is better than Taylor, while a Malachi is a lot better than a back-up safety we have, he should be the pick.

With all that said, I do think we need more depth at DT. Hopefully we will get one with the next pick.

Finally Sanders is gone. To Cleveland. Now we can stop talking about it in general and specifically stop pretending it would’ve been a good idea for the Jets to do it.

Here is a thought: Let's draft the players necessary so they WILL have to throw against us!

Glad that BUF, NE, and MIA are picking up the DTs that would’ve worked out well for us.

Pegues is still around and might be when we pick again. Versatile DT who is athletic enough to also take snaps on offense.

Horton is still available at WR- even with the knee injury he can actually catch the ball. Might not be around when we pick though. Bond has ankle issues but is fast and again can actually catch the ball.

Having better offense would help, if we can actually put some points on the board ourselves, as opposed to be losing all the time, which is where top 2 picks went. Again, I am all for DT, I wanted Graham if he were available. But also you have to look at the replacement value of what's available. I do hope the next pick will cross that threshold and will be the DT.

Gardner is one man. Believe it or not some teams play with 2, 3, or even 4 wide receivers

Don't project. Understand that if you think you can get a good starter at Safety in round 3/4 while you feel a DT that is there is similar to what we already have say in Leonard Taylor, it still makes sense to get a starter. If you think there is a very good DT there, I get it. I just don't know if there was one in the 4th round. It is more nuanced than let's take the best DT available because we need a DT, because the best available one may not be much better than what we already have.

I don't care about what the media says.. watch the tape. I'm currently listening to how amazing Sanders is and how absurd it is that he landed in round 5. People thought Zach Wilson was the God send we needed... The whole time I couldn't possibly grasp how those same people were watching the same game tape that I was.

I'll trust former damn good corner, who is our HC, that actually watches tape, and doesn't give a damn about what everyone else is saying. I'll take that all day long.

Stats can be misleading, this one definitely is. I watched enough of their games to say without a doubt their secondary was not top 4, nor was it the reason the stats show they allowed the 4th least passing yards a game.

That is probably more to do with being down multiple scores every game and teams running all over us.
