I don't really get Azareye'h Thomas pick. He appears to be slow, didn't even run 40 in the combine. We have much bigger needs. Maybe they think to convert to safety?

Unless they plan to move him or Stiggers to safety, I hate this pick. They just signed a CB and Stiggers looked promising. Should have taken a WR,DT or S with this pick.
With Field they had to draft a high end TE. Whether Taylor is that guy we ll have to see but imo it was a good pick for Fields and his ability to run. All these great running QBs have great TEs. Holmes and Kelce, Lamar and Andrews, Daniel’s and Ertz/Sinnot and Murray and McBride, etc. I hope it is at least a good combo pair.
If you take him with no plans to start him in the near future Sanders is not a good "sit him for a few years" draft pick proposition. There will be absolutely nothing quiet about that situation the entire time, and i just don't see McVay signing on for that surrounding noise.
Is best player, best value, long term. It if fits need fine, but that is certainly not a draft prerequisite. Good for them. AG loves him and we are always in need to reinforce the CB, S position. I think your vision is purely going down needs first and that is not what is best on the draft strategy, because inevitably you over reach.
He's kind of small for a a safety....but it seems like maybe him, Stephens or Stiggers might be converted to safety.
I do not like this pick. CB was NOT a position of need at all. The jets need WR, DT, DE, and safety. I thought the jets had 4 decent CB without drafting this guy. Even w a new GM the jets can't help but reach for guys. Bad pick IMO
New England has had an outstanding draft. IMO Maybe Woody screwed up not closing the deal with Vrabel
I dunno. Seahawks in no rush to get Milroy at QB with Darnold and Lock at QBs… Milroy will sit for at least a year or two plus he has legs. Seahawks did get Russel Wilson at 3rd rd right?
