If the DT is better than the WR go with that. It's their business to know. They haven't made any mistakes since Dec.

Disagree you use FA to plug holes. Journeymen whatever. If you go into a draft desperate you will be out of a job quick.

Not saying that’s what happened, just pointing out applauding that as an approach is bush league.
The draft is about the future not the present.

Wait, Mason Taylor is Jason Taylor's son? I probably hate no NFL player more than I hate Jason Taylor. Fuck that guy. Now I hate the pick. Seriously.

I do agree with that, but I think that is exactly what they did, best value BPA. In fact the next two TEs went immediately after us, with the Rams actually moving up

Yep. Probably one the Jets were looking at.

I'm actually taking some satisfaction from this. Jason Taylor said publicly that he hated the Jets. Now Karma has her revenge with his kid getting drafted by the Jets. Can't ask for a better example of Irony.. :)

Big mouth Deion or not Jets need to draft Shadeur in the 3rd round, granted how many 2nd and 3rd round picks we wasted the last few years on bums this is a good gamble. Until we find a Franchise Qb we will suck. Maybe Deion being in the Jets ear on his sons development is a blessing can't the Jets can't develop a Qb for their life.

Hell, I wouldn't blame them for taking a DE either, considering McD's run deficiencies.

Maybe Farmer at DT, Royals at WR, or Winston at S?

S is the best of the 3. Good run defender and can cover TEs.

Edit: well we went CB. Guess we’ll address the DL later on.

Well they went for the CB, not a big need in my opinion, but they know BPA better than I do.

AG probably ain't taking 3 straight offensive picks I'd assume.

    And DB it is.

I don't hate it. Losing Reed and needing to sign Sauce to a big deal we need a cheap young guy who can start opposite Sauce. I also trust Glenn at this position

Well you can’t accuse them of plugging a hole with the CB pick ….

Jets are seriously going into the season with Allen Lazard as their number 2 receiver. God help us…
