Agreed but talent being available there doesn’t mean we will be able to draft them. Im hoping we can land Higgins, Bech or by some miracle move up for Egbuka if he falls

Just an ignorant post from some one who did zero research on this draft class

I thought that was the plan going in. We actually now have 4 RB's 2 of which will always be on the field if you count our mobile QB.

I was wrong too but he sure looks good on tape. The Jets OL on paper anyway is now one of the strongest units on the team.

Ricky White, WR, UNLV (polished receiver whose played a lot of football - interesting side note in that he’s blocked a lot of punts so he has upside as a contributor if he sucks as a WR)
Tory Horton, WR, Colorado State (polished receiver whose played a lot of football)
Nick Nash, WR, San Jose State (leading receiver in the country)
Savion Williams, WR, TCU (not a lot of good production but a physical freak)
Theo Wease, WR, Missouri (faster than he timed, was overshadowed by Luther Burden)
LaJohntay Wester, Jimmy Horn Jr. & Will Sheppard, WR, Colorado (all fast as fuck. simply top off deep threats at the moment. I like Horn the most but see him the lowest rated)
Ja’Corey Brooks, WR, Louisville (former high recruit at Alabama. Not great in contested catches but a lot of ability)

So who else do we have right now that can catch passes other than GW? And we’ve taken 4 straight olinemen? We’ve passed Bowers, Warren and every other skill position. I’m tired of this shit.

Letting the past draft selections influence your anger over what we did tonight doesn’t make much sense. I’m aggravated we didn’t take Bowers last year too but both tight ends are way overvalued this year because everyone missed on the once in twenty year prospect they missed on last year at TE.

It is the wrong draft the reach on a receiver simply because you need one.

yeah and we suck at drafting wide receivers in the 2nd round or later which I’m sure we will do now, jd never addressed the weakest part of the team in the 1st round and so far this gm is following suit. Way to help your young quarterback out by giving him 4 bum receivers. So is Gipson going to be the 3rd receiver now?

I obviously haven't had time to watch extensively on these kids but Nick Nash is solid. I'm surprised he isn't getting more attention. He does a lot of things right. I think he stood out the most out of these guys for me.
They are obviously all about speed though, so I could easily see some projects here with speed getting the nod. Thanks again.

Very happy with the pick. Membou is the best OT in the draft. Had a tremendous season against good competition. As athletic as one can be. Just turned 21. AG and Mooge went with the tranches on offense. Makes a lot of sense. Now - get a WR in round 2.

How many games did Bowers win last year?

You just know Warren is going to be awesome now that the Jets passed on him

Brother… he was an all-pro as a rookie and broke multiple records. This doesn’t work.

Amen to that. Carter was a primary reason for the complete lack of development with the O line.

it really is crazy I’m not a young dude, the Jets have never ever had a good TE in my entire life lol.

That’s why I came to want Warren this year. Although it doesn’t hurt as bad as passing on Bowers last year I’ll admit
