Jets are currently projected to get a 4th RD compensatory pick due to the Hassan Reddick signing. I don't totally understand the formula that's used and this is the current status but could change depending on the remainder of free agency https://overthecap.com/compensatory-picks
Even the NFL was disgusted by the trade. So we traded a 2026 3rd rounder to Philly which could be a top 75 player. We get a 2025 player around pick 132 this year. I guess its better than nothing.
No. Comp pick would be 2026. They are also offset by your own signings. If you sign a player for similar dollars they cancel out. Also, the chart only shows values for those announced signing. As more players sign, the picks may shift depending on value APY. At present we look like a 4th but we may sign other players.
Nice to see Bucs are paying him less than the Jets to play 10 games and to be non existent in all 10 games, him and Zack Wilson will be written on Joe D's Tombstone.

Latest update. Net after signings, Reddick remains a 4th rounder and Conklin is listed as the next to last 7. Several contracts not listed yet so that Conklin pick could change.
The Huff-Reddick fiasco was a lose-lose-lose-lose situation. Both players careers are basically over and both teams got nothing from their acquisitions of the respective edge rushers.
Perhaps because TB knew that Reddick really didn't want to play for the Jets and pretty much was just killin time. TB might get the real Reddick.
New update. Conklin has moved up a bit so more likely to remain. Solomon Thomas now counting a few picks below Conklin so a fourth and two sevenths are projected. Reaching the point teams kinda know what they might get pick wise and often don't sign players/factor it into signing until after it no longer matters for comp picks which I think is in May sometime.
