What's stupid about this is the media made it sound like these were some high tech geniuses that were disabling alarm systems remotely because they were, uh, geniuses. Yes and no. They were mostly smash and runs and disabling did occur, but of course the perps were stupid enough to post online and brag about it. Never fails. Seven Chilean nationals just arrested.
