And the show of BS interviews is over. Kind of sad anybody even bothered to interview when the outcome was already decided.

A big FU to Vrabel, using the Jets to get this job. I look forward to the extra edge in the rivalry again that was missing just a bit last year.

Also, I'd love for them to bring in that blowhard loser McDaniels as OC rather than an innovative mind. Bring the old Pats gang from 00s and 10s back, Mike

The Jets are always a stepping stone. Vrabel was just for show. The Rooney Rule, what about the Cheating Fck Rule?

Goddammit, I wish I could find that infamous Ted Johnson quote that was scrubbed from the internet when he was cheating teammates with Vrabel.

@abyzmul, who was the original one who found it/posted it.

It was something like, "Everyday we'd get a sheet with other teams plays. I don't know. They just showed up."

Ernie Adams is the best kept secret in the NFL. Tin foil hat says Kraft and Belichick biggest players in ‘evolving’ the league - got away with cheating , “everyone does it , price of doing business, hide your signals better.” This is warfare, not good clean old sports. ; basically they were able to change multiple rules “for the better” make the game more “entertaining”. And of course Kraft led the way for Vegas and all the gambling apps Draft kings Draft kings Draft kings. We so needed that in football and all sports. Oh look Vegas got a football team, oh look who’s going to run it, Brady lol

Brady was getting all the plays in his helmet before the snap; where the blitz was coming or not coming etc; belichick and Kraft got Brady down to Tampa and continued the same cheating down there, and massage parlor master. Even the bengals caught them still cheating more recently. Cheating will continue in UNC etc. I hate the Pats and everything about their shit stain franchise that killed this league.

deflategate was funny but bullshit, spy gate was the one.

Seems like it has mostly fallen off the internet, but I found it on a Boston Herald article from Spygate (I don't have a subscription so I took a screenshot before the paywall popped up):

Edit: no idea who originally posted it, that is some old school stuff.

"Every now and then I'd get a sheet, one hour before the game, with a list of audibles for our opponent. I don't know how, but they just showed up." - Ted Johnson

    That's it! That's it! Hahahahaha!

Vrabel has Drake Maye & the Patriots in 1st place with a great shot at the AFC east title. That is a winning organization.

Brother, I'm at the point where I will condone cheating, filming, steroids, recreational drugs, weekly boat parties, 2psi footballs, fraud medical reports, salary cap violations, and player bounties on offense, defense and special teams, just to have a halfway competent team here.

Apparently this was very close to being a thing. If Kraft hadn't pulled the trigger aggressively, Vrabel would have been here. He was Woody's first choice, and apparently he liked the people he met here.

The Jets voodoo strikes again. Imagine if Kraft had been like Woody and said "we need to give Mayo another chance, we need to make sure Drake Maye has continuity in coaching", or whatever dreck people use to justify continuing with bad coaches.

The only thing I get out of that is that the Jets were calling Vrabel on his plane ride to New England begging him to take their job. Beta ass bitches.

But they interviewed him first. That's the thing. They let him out of the building. Shouldn't have done that if they really liked him.

Phoning him at the end and offering him full control. Idiots. They should have offered it to him from the get-go like the Patsies did.

I don't think there was any chance a dude like Vrabel would work for a limp dick like Woody. The guy had to be shamed into shaking Aaron Rodgers' hand during his intro presser a couple years ago, he's a puss. I just can't see Mike Vrabel calling Woody Johnson 'sir', he would probably burst into flames immediately out of embarrassment.

Yeah I don’t think Vrabel was coming here. He’s young enough to have been patient for a good landing spot even if it wasn’t this offseason.

He already had to fuck around with the retread veteran QB and no real draft pick to landing a young QB for half a decade. I doubt he wanted to do that again.

Make him a godfather offer. Full control, top money, supportive ownership, four years. Offer expires when you walk out the door.

Maybe they did that, but the fact that they called him later and offered full control indicates to me that they didn't. If you love him, why not?

Our fucktard owner should've backed up the brinks truck if he wanted him. Nope, let's go the same route that's worked so well in the past.
