It's pretty well-known at this point that Tomlin is far more popular around the country than he is in Pittsburgh; he's viewed there as the coach who has missed the playoffs three of the last seven seasons, and has lost all four of the playoff games they've played. If they lose their game this year, that noise is only going to get louder, but there's no evidence that the Rooneys will pay any attention to it.
It will be interesting to see what happens. Their loss yesterday likely means another in string of playoff losses. They aren't beating Ravens. The one playoff team they could beat is the Texans and it looks like that ship has sailed. Their loss also means a tougher road for KC.. KC will likely have to play the Chargers instead of the Steelers which imho is a MUCH tougher game for them. Both games this season were very close and could have gone either way. My gut is that Chargers win a 3rd match up with KC.. KC offense isn't all that and the Chargers D is very capable of shutting them down.

Why would the Rams sit their starters when they need to win to avoid dropping a seed? facing a rookie with Washington seems a lot better than facing a 14 win team (Det/Min) if they lose today
