I was wrong. Its not 1000 flags, its almost 1000 penalty yards in 2024. We currently stand at 979 so we'll make it next week against MIA.
I really do wonder if his entrance to training camp on Hard Knocks last year is the reason that he's still on the roster. The Jets are an organization that values perceived "coolness" over actual production on the field, and that was an entrance that could be viewed as badass by some who value outward shows of perceived toughness.
Saleh especially loved this kind of bullshit. wE hAvE a BuNcH oF wAr DaDdIes. Yeah but they're terrible at football and cost the team 50 yards in penalties per game.
That personal foul today was one of the worst I've seen in a while, at least in terms of how completely avoidable it was. I was watching the game at a bar, the first game I've watched since Halloween, and when he did that, I didn't even have to wait to see what number the player was or wait for the ref to announce the penalty, I knew who it was. Next year, they'll have someone else who will make the bad penalties like that. Just as the roster will inevitably change over, the penalties will inevitably remain because there's nobody within the Jets organization that has any interest in actually fixing this franchise. It's inherently broken and will remain so in perpetuity. There are only three things that are absolutely certain in life: death, taxes, and the Jets absolutely sucking.
Exactly how I felt. Shut that game off Third Quarter. Ahead of starting my diet after New Years I went food shopping. Came home and made Fettichini con Funghi Porcini. Jet who?
I would love to know what they "think" Jets brand football actually is as they seem to think it is something good.
Looks like I picked a good game to miss.... went surfing instead of finding a stream. Good call, especially when I came home and saw the boxscore. What a trainwreck.
. Fuck this guy. Fuck this guy. Fuck this guy. Fuck this guy. Fuck this guy. Fuck this guy. Fuck this guy. Fuck this guy ftw
