Yeah, just pay your money and shut up. The GMs and coaches the Jets have had were professionals of the highest regard. You can tell by the results. You sound like a guy who takes pride in regularly going to the worst, most expensive restaurant in town.
I'm just a fan not a professional in the football business. Unlike most people on this board I don't claim special knowledge. I yield to you and other experts.
Sox the Vikings don't go to super bowls. Come on... I did see a video of Sam coming into the locker room and it was bittersweet as a Jets and Packers fan to watch. Sent from my genius mind.
There is not a scenario on earth that the Manning's EVER let one of theirs come to the NY Jets. There may not be a whole lot in this world you can write down as "gospel" but that is one.
You're just a fan who thinks that football decisions are based on what the fans have to say. Maybe the Jets should pull a couple of guys off forums like this one to screen candidates for the GM and HC positions so everyone will be on the same page. Of course, none of them should speak about the emperor's new clothes except to say how fine they are. Yassuh, boss!
I guess this might be the first time anyone bothered to look, and no I'm not proud to be attached to that distinction, but the photos I've found of Daniel Kelly bear a striking resemblance to the image in your avatar.
Can Justin Fields perhaps improve as well in a way Sam did? Maybe not, but he could be serviceable and likely will be available. Worth a shot. Sam will definitely not be available.
lil Bill Beli spouting some shit that everybody "liked" Sam except the Jets. Hmm...why didn't a division rival pounce on our obvious mistake? PFFFT He's obvioiuly having a helluva year. Very propped up by the supporting cast on O and D, IMHO. God bless him. Good kid. For us, he was often late with his throws, held the ball too long, got injured, got flustered, saw ghosts. Wasn't well supported by the surrounding cast and D.
Oh man, I forgot about that. "No, Tim Tebow is still a future Hall of Fame caliber quarterback. Tim Tebow is still a quarterback capable of winning multiple Super Bowls. I stake my scouting reputation on those statements. " Daniel Kelly is hereby officially banned as any sort of reasonable source for scouting. Them's his own words. To be clear, he was right about Zack, but broken clocks...
Uhhhh.. because in 2021 when we traded Sam, all three division rivals had young QBs they believed in (Josh Allen, Tua) or a top 15 draft pick (Patsies)?
Fields will mostly always be able to move the ball with his legs until he’s too old to be effective running. The problem is fixing the fumbles and sacks which sort of work hand in hand. He’s not really that interception prone because he holds on to the ball too long to throw that many picks. Interesting though - Caleb is getting sacked a ton too in the same offense and behind pretty much the same trash offensive line. Fields would be an interesting option as a short term stop gap.
We had the ball with a chance to beat the Vikes, if you recall. Except noodle arm underthrew his WR and got INT'd. I am still suspicious of Sam's rise. Who knows? Cousins produced mad stats with JJ there.
IF Beli thought much of Sam he'd have gobbled him up. Even as insurance. Top 15 still a crap shoot. And I meant JUST the Pats when I said "division rival"
