This is the same shit we saw last year. #4-#5 tackles trying to protect Quarterback…we’d all agree Rodgers is less mobile than zwilson…this is the result maybe we draft Cam in his prime, Lamar, Josh, Hurts…maybe we don’t this game always has been and always will be won in the trenches, unless you have an elite athlete/passer at the QB position.
They should make Rodgers madden rating half of Sam Darnold's so Brick go's and cry's to daddy who's old enough to be his great great granpa.
No mystery. He's as average as a player can be. Which would be fine if he could stay on the field for more than 5 minutes at a time.
I rather Taylor be the Jets starter than that fucktard Rodgers lets put it this way, best to have Taylor in there game 17 gelling with his wide receivers, should of happened a long time ago when Rodgers showed he is over the hill and is a below average Qb at best at this point
Rodgers said he benched himself today. Then he made a fun crack about getting the sack record over Tom Brady, so funny and cute
Yeah, don't let Rodgers get his 500th TD pass this year and prance around like he just won the Super Bowl.
The only thing I'm concerned about is losing vs. the Dolphins next week. With that in mind, I say we start Rodgers. He is washed. What we really need though is for Tua to be healthy enough to start. If he's out we're almost certain to win and screw our draft position.
I still think we'll be able to pull out the loss even without Tua out there. This team has checked out, especially the defense.
I'd like to believe that but the Jets are ELITE at winning meaningless games late in the season to torpedo their draft position. We are probably the GOATs of it to be honest.
True. In the end, though, I'm not sure it matters one way or the other. Whether they're picking near the Top 5 or closer to 10, they'll screw up whatever draft pick they get. I'm completely over the entire tanking thing. We can't get it right when we tank, we can't get it right when they actually try to win games. Whatever happens on Sunday, it won't have any bearing on how the Jets will screw up their draft pick come spring of next year.
This is exactly how I see it. The point of tanking is to be in a position to acquire a HOF quarterback (not a defensive back, not a wide receiver). Well? We have a fucking HOF quarterback and we still can't win ... which suggests the problem is not the quarterback play. What we have is a problem that tanking cannot fix.
What? Is this a joke? Rodgers has done nothing as a Jet or for the Jets except harm the team and delay a viable plan for improvement. You might also be interested to know that Hall of Fame members do not get inducted with any attachment to any team. How I want to see him is out of a Jets uniform yesterday before he gets undressed on the field once again.
"Benched himself"? Maybe he can explain how that's different than "quitting on the team." Please don't take this to mean I was not ecstatic to see him on the bench for the fourth quarter.
