A depleted Aaron Rodgers and his public interviews, only wanting to throw to one player for sentimental reasons, demanding certain franchise decisions, etc. is more detrimental to the team than some scrub winging interceptions for the Jets next year. The plan unfortunately is sucking nuts next year with a terrible cap situation and living to fight again in 2026 with hopefully a renewed GM, coach and draft class.
Yeah I mean I don’t disagree but no one had a shot at Lamar in free agency since he never hit the open market.
Basically when Carr signed, only 60 mil of his contract was guaranteed at signing. These 60 mil will be paid by Jan 5th. After that the next milestone is 3/15/2025 where he is owed 10 more mil out of 40 mil for 2025. Basically he has to renegotiate with the Saints since I doubt they would want to have him for 40 mil, or he will be waived. Like you said I have no idea what the Saints will do, but it is certainly possible they will move in a different direction as it will not cost them anything. I actually think Carr did pretty well for them. He has great stats and some people say his stats are misleading, but they are 5-5 with him, and 0-6 without, so, maybe they are not that misleading after all.
There was a play where Yeboah runs himself wide open, Rodgers throws it to Yeboah’s ankles and then runs down the field bitching at him
On the real I think you have to bench him next week, no? I’m sure 2025 becomes fully guaranteed (unless it already is) with injury?
Maybe he pulls a Favre and says they forced him onto the field when he was injured. He mentions being injured in many of his press conferences.
Old Brick is not doing it. Should the young Brick meddle and pull the plug? But no, there is no injury clause for 2025.
We have Tyrod Taylor on an affordable contract and our young prospect will be back from injury. Rodgers is expendable. We do not want or need him any longer.
Taylor looked good in garbage time, at least start him next week to see what he looks like in a full game, but apparently Rodgers career stat padding and personal records mean more
