Not only that, the sun will come out. All this talk of Woody dysfunction has me wondering if it's only the Jets. We've all heard that Jerry Jones of Dallas is a similar type of owner who meddles a lot but we don't get the bombshell articles as in the Athletic. So there may be others who do as well. An owner, being an owner, has the right to do whatever he wants with his toy. What's needed is an FO and CS that can invoke a sense of team among the players and get them to tune out all these distractions and focus on what they can control, football. Not saying it's easy, but in the end, every player who steps on the field, wants one thing.....to win regardless of what's going on in the owners suite. For us fans, we don't come to the stadium or tune in the TV every Sunday to root for Woody. It's for the players and those green uniforms. My passion for the Jets is not diminished.
The sun will come out tomorrow... tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow, creeps in its petty pace from day to day to the last syllable of recorded time.
Jerry Jones (while clearly should take a step back) will get more of a pass.... He actually PLAYED football and the team he owns team has SB rings
Macbeth!!! Well said ahah And who can forget the rest of that speech>>>"out out brief candle ! Lifes but a walking shadow : a poor player That struts and frets his hour upon the stage And then is heard no more ; it is a tale Told by an idiot , full of sound and fury Signifying nothing" W Shakespeare Somedays are just like that aren't they? Especially following this absurd Team!
This is a new low for me...There is just no reason to watch these last several games. and honestly, I hope Rodgers DOES NOT GET HIS 500TH TD PASS. He's too fckn big to throw the ball away, then he can kiss my ass.
I am sort of enjoying this season a bit now as it is fascinating watching them find new lows - if this was Minecraft we've been through the mud, through the stone, through the bedrock and into unchartered territory this year.
Just watched the "highlights" of that debacle. The state of New Jersey should really pass a law that forbids any football team that plays there from wearing green pants with green jerseys.
