So true. I have posted several times that I really believe that most of the faithful on TGG message board could do a better job than Bradway, Idzik, McCagnan, Douglas and other GMs. So MANY high draft picks totally wasted on Darron Lee, Kyle Wilson, Calvin Pryor, Zach Wilson, Hackenberg, Becton, Gholston, Couples, Mims, etc. So much free agent money wasted on Trumaine Johnson, CJ Uzoma, CJ Mosely, Hasaan Redick (trade), Duane Brown, Tyron Smith, Laveon Bell, Allen Lazard, Carl Lawson, etc. It is mind boggling how often the jets strike out with the GMs they hire.
I wrote earlier and agreed with the premise but after today’s article in The Athletic I actually feel worse about being a Jets fan. The nepo owner and his nepo sons continue to ruin the team.
I'm not sure there IS a bottom when it comes to being a Jet fan. Just when you think its safe to actually claim being a jet fan, this shit comes out. Time for billboards and planes again folks.

This season cant really get any lower. We went all in and have `10 losses. Well maybe in this way. There are a very few times late in the season when it would actually be better for the Jets to lose to another cellar dweller for draft position. You can always count on the Jets winning those games, and celebrating like they are a good team.
Tanny will be the Savior who gets us the Organization we need. In 50 years 2010-11 was our only bright spot right??? Sadly, the one name on this list missing is Woody Johnson. You simply can't account for that much stupid and ineptitude. You simply CAN'T! You can't tell me, out of all those names, they all sucked. You CAN'T! The odds simply won't allow it. Hell, other than the owner being the useless turd that he is, odds are, in this era of parity, that the Jets should have been to the playoffs at least ONCE in the last decade and a half. The one constant, that is never going to change, is a useless shit hole of a Johnson sitting at the top.
There is no bottom for this franchise to reach. I actually find it kind of funny when people tell me that it can't get any worse than this, because come January, once Woody makes his new hires, it will get worse.
I'm in my late 30s, the Jets haven't made the playoffs since I was in my mid-20s. I wasn't married, I didn't have kids. I was only a couple years out of college. That's when the Jets last made the playoffs! I stopped watching them with any regularity during the depths of the Bowles era. IDK how you all persist.
Maybe on New Years Day we get as many Jet Fans as possible together, all decked out in our Jets gear. And we just walk into the Hudson River. A mass suicide. It's one of the few paths forward that may end the pain. I took inspiration from Ghandi's march on the Salt mines.
