Didn't he aggravate something in his surgically repaired knee? Guess he really wants his 1000yd season and will jeopardize his career to get it. Other than that, playing in a season already over seems pointless and a unnecessary risk.
Meh Breece isn’t some sort of franchise player that I think we’re going to commit to. He’s also seemed to indicate he isn’t very interested in being here long term with some social media stuff and comments. He can start trying to bitch his way out of here this offseason. If he was re-signed to a big number and all in on the Jets maybe you protect your investment. Even still you generally don’t sit guys down if they can go and it’s something that at worst seems like it’d give them a questionable designation.
Ideally Breece is in a contract year and its bad his number have fallen off. Its about the cash more than the wins these days.
